Author's Response: The shimmerling is there to help Harry as you'll see as the story goes on. it plays an important role. As for the card game, I'd say the IOU's were a special thing and they just won sweets this time. Myabe I ought to put that in there though. Thanks!

Author's Response: Right now I haven't planned on having anyone but Sarai show up at the manor, but perhaps she could take the boys on a little trip into faerie, but I'm not sure yet. Glad you like Smidgen's name, I thought it was fitting and cute too.

loved the fight between harry and old voldie. so does this mean that voldie wont beable to give harry visions?

Author's Response: Yup that's exactly what it means. I've given harry a more equal playing field here with the blood link being destroyed, so Voldie can't see into Harry's head and gain any more info from him or make him do stupid things like in OOTP.

- awwww. prince balin does sound like a good character. now then how is sarai related to titania? is she a distant cousin like with sev?
Author's Response: Yeah, the prince is kind of like James in fae form, or at least the way I'd have imagined James to be if he were in college, LOL! Sarai and Titania are distant cousins, most of the fae nobility are related to each other by a few common ancestors, like the wizarding purebloods.

Author's Response: I know! But one of trademarks are those last minute cliffies, y'know! LOL! How would you like to read a book that ended on a cliffie? I just finished one by Bruce Coville and it ended with an invasion!! Talk about leaving readers hanging! And who knows when the next one's coming out?
