If there is one thing I love more than Snape and Harry, it is IN-CHARACTER!!! Ron and Hermione. Because nothing is worse than a story that pays fantastic attention to Snape and Harry's burgeoning relationship only to be set on fire spectacularly by a failure to understand the other characters that make up a story.

Author's Response: I’m glad you think he’s in character here. Ron’s a hard one to grasp in these stories, because he hates Snape, but he loves Harry. It’s really easy to fall into the “make Ron’s reaction the conflict” cliché, and I didn’t want to do that. I figure I’ve got enough clichés going in this story, lol.(I promise not to tell anyone about the serious review, lol)

I’m only sort of badass? Aw. That’s okay though, because it appears that I, like Snape, have a secret soft spot for a vulnerable Harry.
Seriously though, I have tried to tamper the speed at which I melt Snape, but it’s awfully difficult to have him keep resisting the sad, needy Harry.

Ok, I am going to repeat my favourite phrase (and apologise profusely in advance, because this is going to crop up a lot in my reviews) OMG SNAPE/HARRY LUFF. First stop - feeling emotions (wink wink nudge nudge SNAPEY) next stop WORLD PEACE!!
... Wait. That doesn't quite fit XD
It's still an excellent story, and Sweartoad is still very happy (though she is not quite sure why she is suddenly referring to herself in the third person. It must be one of life's mysteries XD)

Author's Response: Oops, did he forget to mention that little detail? Well, that’s Snape for you. He doesn’t do these things for attention, he does them for justice – something he has a strong sense of. It’s just too bad there’s Wizarding Law Enforcement, because I would have had him do much worse things to Dursley.

It would be total karma if Harry suddenly came down with the same rare, untreatable illness ... except of course by this time Snapey will be so attached to him that he will go to the ends of the earth to find a treatment ...

I honestly like the whole Snape's-password-is-really-an-anagram-for-LILY-EVANS! and the fact that he's trying to be all like, I seriously don't care all that much about you, I just want to make sure you're warm so you don't eff up any more potions. Lol. LIAR XD
Author's Response: It is rather a lame excuse. And he hasn’t even got one for giving Harry his password. And hey! You’re the only one who reviewed here at P&S who got the anagram thing (okay, I added on extra “e”, but really that’s pretty forgivable, right?). Kudos!!

Author's Response: XD. I’m trying to make him melt slowly, but with Harry being so damned cute he’s having a hard time resisting. And I’m secretly pleased (heh) with the way the ‘please’ sections worked out. So I’m really glad you like that one.
