- ohhhh thank you thank you than you ! I couldn't even read properly this chapter, I had to go through until I heard ( yes, heard !) Ginny say "your father needs you!" And then I felt my shoulder suddenly relax, I think they had been tense for two days !
Anyway, the unicorn says thanks too ! *pat the head of the relieved unicorn* ! ;-p
( but still... you ARE totally evil ! that note ! ugh! )

LOL My mom told me to tell you that she would come and help you hold the Unicorn hostage! She was frantic as well last night. And mad that I wouldn't give out details...nope not even to my own mom. :o)

- OK, I knew I shouldn't have read at work, and it's happy I don't have students right now because I'm fighting against tears... I'm a bit kinda paralyzed, so I hope nobody ask me anything in the next hour because I'm not sure I will be able to answer...
One thing I know... there is a very frightened Unicorn somewhere in France !! ;-)

- I loved this chapter !
And there was something odd, too... i was not sure I wanted to tell about this, that sounds a bit weird... I saw on a review or on your yahoo board your explanation about how Harry promised to be good when he wanted his father back, and the fact that it is a common grieving. When I read that, my mind snaped at the words I had when my father died, just a few minutes after, when everyone left and I was alone with him, I told him I would always do everything so that he would be proud of me. But I didn't really, that's how life goes, and I always felt guilty for ' lying'. And then reading your answer I realized, somehow... that's ok, I suppose... he probably know I'm doing my best anyway, doesn't he ? ;-)
That is so strange. Fanfictions sometimes put us through strange moments... well, life, somehow ;-)
Author's Response: Yes. I know just what you mean. I have been wracked with so much guilt, thinking that I've disappointed my father as well. I thought a lot about this as I read this chapter. And yes, Just like Severus in this chapter...he knows just like your own dad and mine that we are doing our best. I'm positive your father would be very proud of you. I'm so glad you can find some sort of strength in this story. You can't know how much that means to me. :o)

- well I know this is coming out of nowhere, but where did I ever made a logical review, eh ? So. I comes to me that this fic is the only one I read where the relation between harry and Ginny feels really right, I don't know how you manages to do that ( because really JKR didn't give a lot of material to that ), but that's awesome. I love this pairing, really, but it's a hard one to work out !
The same goes for Rémus part, he HAS a real part here, and he is more in character that I ever saw him, even in the canon fic. Well maybe he had more "relief" ( is that an english word?) here.
Oh and of course the relationship between Snape and Harry IS unique.
The only problem is that it makes me really depressed for them. I have to stop being empathic with your characters, with your angst tendancies, you're leading me to Prozac ;-)
Oh by the way, I am working on Last Gift, but I'm in desperate need of a translator, I'm really too bad at this ! But the cat is just sleeping on his jumper, he'll be back ;-)

There really is no reason to be depressed for them. They will be fine. This is not a fic about fluffiness. These two men are trying to make an almost impossible situation work. Sorry you didn't enjoy this chapter as much. I myself, though I found it very hard to write, loved it for all the reasons that it is going to be what helps both of them heal. Life is not easy. All of this has been building to a certain point. And we're almost there.
Glad you liked Ginny/Harry here and Remus as well.
