- This is fascinating and so different from the other time travel stories! You should continue!
Harry Potter, 10 years old, finds out that he isn't a Potter, and that he has a brother still living! And his brother happens to be Severus Snape. After the reading of Eileen Prince's will, Severus takes Harry in. And after spending the summer living with his newly-found brother, being educated in the wizarding ways, and meeting new people, Harry slowly starts fitting in and having a normal life.
How long will it stay normal, though? After all, despite him being known to Hogwarts and the rest of the world as Silas Prince, he still is Harry Potter, and it is only so long that he is able to stay out of trouble.

- Another excellent chapter. This is such a powerful story - every time you update I get sucked into it again and end up rereading the previous chapters! Very well written, as always.
I'm eager to find out what happened in the chamber, and what will happen next in Harry and Severus' relationship.

It's powerful for me too, it's actually hard not to waste the day writing about these two!
We certainly will find out what happened to Severus, but we have to deal with his relationship with Harry first.

- Wonderfully strong ending to a touching story. I'm glad that you mentioned there will be a sequel, or I'd have been pestering you for one here!
I am a big sucker for hurt/comfort in this fandom - precisely because this aspect of harry's psyche is so missing in the books, as you said in your author's notes about his need for a parent. This has really been one of the best hurt/comfort snape-adopts-harry fanfics that I've read. The key moments that you said in your a.n. that you built this story around - the sign for teacher/father, harry signing "sorry" against snape's chest - these moments have stuck with me through the months since I first read them and I can tell they'll be rattling around in my head for long time.
There is too much that's great in this fanfic for me to even begin to do it justice in a review, so let me just say - thank you very much for writing this and sharing it with us. I would love to see a sequel, or another fanfic, or anything snape/harry really - I wuld love to see more from you wherever the muse takes you.

Thank you for such a lovely, long review. It's so - justifying, for lack of a better word - when readers see the major aspects of the characters the same way. In this case Harry's psyche. It was nice to get all that out of my head and onto paper and even better to see people respond with "Yes! That's it!"
So, in short, I'm very glad you liked it. The sequel is in the works, if only in my head for the moment.

- The last two chapters have been great! I can just see Harry panicking and deciding to fake sick to get out of the situation with Moretta, like anyone might at that age, and then the situation blowing up out of control as it wouldn't had he been anyone else.
I'm so glad that you are still updating this story and I hope you'll post more soon - I am really wanting to know what horrible thing Snape is expecting to happen this year. Harry is so oblivious but you've done a nice job of foreshadowing thru Snape.
Oh - and I really liked Dumbledore's plain speaking moment a couple of chapters back. Nice to see him drop the twinkles for a moment!
