I am an assistant librarian at a technical college in Georgia.

 I spent four years in the Navy, where I met my husband, a Senior Chief. We have been married about over 30 years. We have one son, who is in the Army (where did we go wrong??!).

 I love the HP universe, but my favorite character is Severus Snape.

    I am truly loving this story. And really, what woman in childbirth doesn't wish for a wand in order to destroy the offending "bits" that got her in that situation.

    One other thing. Having been in childbirth (over 24 hours of it), it is very true that women don't remember the pain. We can remember that it hurt!!! but we can't recall the feeling of pain (ie, make our body feel the pain again). If we did, we would be a world of only children.

    No one can remember pain. We, as a species, wouldn't survive if we could remember pain.

Past Featured Story The House Which Time Forgot by pdantzler starstarstarstarhalf-star [Reviews - 341]
After the Dobby incident at the beginning of the second book, Harry runs away, and Snape kidnaps him. In an old-fashioned house with no comforts and a huge black dog, Harry finds himself at Snape's mercy as Snape plays mind games and makes Harry live through different scenarios. Though Snape seems crazy and psychotic, Harry begins to see reasons behind Snape's sporadic behavior.

There is corporal punishment, but it is different from what I've written before. This is a Mean!Snape story for the most part. If you're looking for a cuddly story, go elsewhere please.
