Fix him, fix him. (Good Lucius) Author's Response: LOL about the good Lucius part. Pretty funny...i can just picture you stroking his long silvery hair while you say that! LOL
Author's Response: Hold on, graynavarre, hold on! :oP
Let him go, Lily. You can have him again in 100 years. Author's Response: LOL That's right, Lily...let him go! Hey, and I never said all hope was lost! Keep holding, keep holding.
Hugs to you. Hugs to you. Yea for Lily letting him go. He'll be back. A bit of bad timing while I was reading it (just when Sev heard "Dad?")- hubby called to wish me a Happy Birthday (I am 60) and all I wanted to do was get back to the story. Running back to reread it. So happy. Author's Response: Well, first of all: Happy Birthday! I hope you have a wonderful day. And I'm so happy you love it so! But, come on...you knew Lily would never want him to leave Harry in favor of her, did you? LOL
Thank you, thank you. Give Lucius a scooby snack for me. Author's Response: LOL A scooby snack for Lucius. Hee hee. :oP See, I told you, you just gotta believe! :o)
It is going to take a lot to get Harry out of his depression. Personal note: my yahoo is acting wierd. Will you let Cathy know that I will toast a glass of my mead to you and her. My husband makes wine and mead - but the mead is best. Author's Response: Thank you so much. LOL That's all right. My favorites change with each new post. :o) Don't worry, Severus will keep working on him. Sure, I'll definitely let Cathy know. I'm sure she'll be delighted! LOL Thanks for your review and so glad you enjoyed the chapter!
In the Navy, we had an expression "Make a Hole" - when a chief snarled, erred ordered it, you got out of the way - even if it meant climbling on a desk, ducking into a doorway, etc. So, Partis means "Make a hole.." Ginny is one very scary young lady. If she is going to be Severus's daughter-in-law, he had better watch out for her. The argument was dead on. Harry and Severus had both been holding back out of fear of hurting each other. They need a lot of help. Author's Response: I love your 'make a hole' analogy. LOL That's exactly right and yep, Papa Bear Sev was on his way! Love that man. Ginny is pretty scary but she was in a moment where she was really worried that Severus was gonna light into Harry and go back to his old Snape ways. Don't forget, she went through it all with Harry and I think she along with Harry saw that little moment of fury from Severus when Minerva relayed the news. She's seen him furious too (remember the tree). So, she justifiably worried for both of them, but mostly for Harry. They have been holding back too much. They do need help. *sigh*
I think he showed great control to get himself out of the room before he hurt his son. Tearing up a room is better striking his son. And, oh my, like father like son is tearing up a room. Yep, after that outburst, Harry not only needed to be punished, he wanted to be punished. Punishment isn't evil. (If Severus ever discovers that Harry threw down his wand and attacked, he will probably have a heart attack.) Harry did something wrong, he knows it and he is willing to face the consequences. Only this time, the punishment will fit the crime and be down with love. Blew, great chapter, I will have to go back and reread. Author's Response: Yeah, it was pretty hard to write...emotionally exhausting! He does carry around a lot of guilt but it's pretty understandable really. I only touched on it a bit this chapter, but he was not treated well by either of his parents, abused by his father...never felt loved. It's a hard thing to get past. It's not that he's blaming himself for Harry saying that, only that he recognizes that Harry should still be allowed to be upset over it. He's not really big into the idea that Harry should keep his feelings to himself and sure, Harry should have gone about it in a nicer way, but those things needed to be said. LOL Yeah, though Sev does have some great control there. Tearing up a room is definitely better. I'm glad you liked the chapter. I feel the same way. Blew. LOL :o)
I think my favorite part was the flame and the storm talking to each other and showing how much they love each other. Author's Response: Yeah, those mind conversations are so much easier than the spoken ones, aren't they. No inhibitions...especially for Severus! I'm glad you're happy. Me too. These two are finally to a good place! Yay! :o)
And it was wonderful how you could go straight from embarrassing Harry so much that he would probably never look at Ginny again (well, at least, for a couple of hours) to getting a horacrux. Author's Response: LOL...a couple of hours. hee hee. Yay for horcruxes. It's about time! Well, at least that's what everyone but Harry is now thinking! :oP |
