Author's Response: Thanks for reviewing! There is an update coming. I've been working on Three Times Trouble, trying to get that updated and edited, but I'll try to get something posted for this one soon.
As a first year, Harry is sorted into Slytherin instead of Gryffindor, and no one is more surprised than his new Head of House.

Author's Response: I made the assumption that since Dumbles always knows everything that's going on in the castle, he knows what's happening on the grounds, too. Maybe he had little birds who tell him? Thanks for reviewing!
