Thirteen-year-old Harry is forced into the body of another Harry in a parallel world, where Snape adopted him years ago. And Snape is enraged to discover that his son has been replaced by a stranger. In our world, Snape discovers a new Harry--one who sees him as a father he never wanted to be. Each Harry must learn to survive in a strange new world, and search for a way home.

I really liked your spin on the three matching patronus. (Patronusi? Patronuses? Whatever) All three family members with the same patronus merging together in time of need. Nicely done. So, Snape doesn't mind Harry being there after all, eh? Funny how Harry's near-death and Snape's near-failure has that effect on him. *tee-hee* Author's Response: Ha, who knew I could be scary? Patronum? I don't know; I took French instead of Latin. Cette Patronus est tres belle! :D It does appear that Snape is re-thinking the whole "remora" issue. :) A near tragedy and a shocking discovery lead two bitter enemies to much soul searching and eventual acceptance of each other. Much angst along the way though. Some Ginny and Harry.

I must confess that when Harry called Snape "Dad" I just about lost my coffee in laughter. Thanks. Author's Response: Thank you CeeCeeMee for your review. I'm very glad that you are enjoying the story and I hope you get a few more laughs.
I hope Sev isn't in too much trouble for his delay. Author's Response: Another review muchly appreciated. But despite your dedication, I am afraid that you will have to wait to see waht happens to Sev. I always like to think that Dudders would have come good and that he and Hary would have a relationship of some sort. Hope to hear from you again Lesley
Author's Response: Thank you for your review. I am glad you enjoyed the chapter. I enjoyed writing Sev and Pig. Lesley After Harry talks to Dumbledore in Deathly Hallows, he takes a little detour to Spinner’s End, back before it was Snape’s house, back when it belonged to a woman named Eileen Prince. Snape couldn’t be angrier that Harry is his father.

Author's Response: Thank you, i'm glad you enjoy it!
And "Yea!" for Snape acknowledging their relationship. Good job. Author's Response: Thanks, you can tell I'm a Political Science major, no? Really, though there is something fishy about Wizarding government. I'd like to visit Wizarding Britian, but I'm not to sure about living there. *Grin* I tried to have my political disgussion emotionally relevent to the story and to the characters, and I hpe I succedded.
It's such an ackward position for them all - and Ginny doesn't even realise just how much so. Yet. So, what did Harry get his "son" for his first Christmas present anyways? Author's Response: Thanks, I'm glad you liked it. this wasn't a happy chapter for anyone concerned, was it? "Yet" is the operative word, Poor Ginny... Harry got him a Foe-Glass. I haven't decided on a birthday present (January 9th is coming up in the story too...).
You did a fine job of trying to break them through their normal assumptions and into new ground. Well done. Author's Response: Thanks, it isn't done yet you know, they still hate each other, and I plan to get that down to mild dislike.
I really liked poor Ginny feeling left out as well. That's going to come back and bite Harry when he least expects it, I'm sure. Good job - as usual. Author's Response: I debated having harry point out Hermione’s real reasons to her, actually, going back and forth, saying “does he realize that about her?” and then I thought, he’s spent a lot of his school years around her and he’s reasonably intelligent, he has to know. Oh yes, Ginny’s resentment will cause all kinds of trouble. Thank you for the review, and I’m glad you liked the chapter!
And how very Snape-like for Prince to figure out who Harry is protecting. Author's Response: Scary isn't it? They had an apprentice and didn’t even realize it. Thanks ,I'm glad you thought so. I think Harry's starting to feel for Lily and Remus though... |
