After Harry is caught for exploding a cauldron in 2nd year Potions, Snape insists he keep a firm hand on the boy he must secretly protect. However, he discoveres that there is more to the twelve year old than unruliness and disrespect. Similarly, Harry learns from and gains a new perspective of his professor.

- I laughed at poor Harry the first time I read this chapter, finding the potion vial's in his pocket is the icing on the cake! Lol, I am SO mean to Harry.
And the way Harry handled the sitouation was perfect! :)

- Chocalate chip or oatmeal? Lol, I had this cookie one time that was called pumkin, it had white chocalate with walnuts, (drool) But enough about cookies. That was an amazing chapter! I loved Severus for how he acted towards Harry!! I am going to read the next chappie now! Great first chapter, I hope it will be one of many! :)

- The famous Harry Potter haircut! I can't wait to read about Petunyah's expression, lol. I loved the length of your first chapter. Not to long not to short. Very well written! I love that Harry's teacher is worried about him? Will she be the one to adopt Harry? I'm sad to say that I've never seen this story before now. It looks promising and I've only read the first chapter!

- Poor Harry, he can't even hum in peace! Hopefully when Snape comes along he will give him a hug. :) But--that probley won't happen if I know Snape.
You had me scared when Harry's aunt tried to wake him and he wouldn't wake, (Anything important about that by the way?) If Harry had gone into a coma or something I would of screamed! Vernon is getting rid of Harry, the poor dear. I'm going to R&R the next chapter now!

The reason Harry wouldn't wake was because he had used magic by messing around with his hair color. Everytime he tries something new, such as changing hair color, style, ect., he will be tired after doing it until he has done it enough times that it occurs without much effort. - It's funny that you mentioned the house in your story & AN, because my mom & dad have always gone on sbout how they want a white brick house. I just thought that was funny. I was kind of surrised that Catherine adopted Harry so quickly, I thought for sure that she would of talked to him for severall more days before doing something so major. But I am glad that she adopted him! :)

I'll admit the whole adoption process was kinda skimmed over and happened pretty quickly. At some point, I hope to go back and add more details and such about all of that. But hey, who can resist those innocent little green eyes looking up at you?
