    This is a fantastic story. I reread all of the chapters before reading this new one and I am again amazed at your plot. You've made everything believable -- Harry going to Severus because of Hermione's bracelet, his powers giving him the animagus power unbeknownst to him, etc. I like your portrayal of Snape. It seems very much in character, yet you are already giving him reasons to change his attitude about Harry.

    Great story!! Many thanks to your translator and beta too.

    Thank you very much, there is actually one more reason about Harry landing on Snape's doorstep- but that will come soon ;-)

    I hope you'll like the next chapter, I have released chapter 29 a few days ago, it is quite awkward to get back in time in the first chapter, but I really like it actually !

    Poor Harry! Snape knows that he cares about Harry, but Harry can probably only trust Snape while in cat form. A very interesting situation.

    Is Severus going to quickly teach Harry to occlude? Like very quickly?

    Thank you so much for updating this story! It would be a tragedy if this was abandoned because it is one of the very best Severus mentoring Harry stories out there.

    I loved your ending line to this chapter. I can feel Severus' pain.

    No, I certainly don't want to abandon it!  I felt guilty about the long delay, but ultimately I'm responsible for the quality of my story.  It doesn't matter how much pressure I might feel to post something for the sake of posting.

    Wonderful chapter!! I was almost rolling on the floor reading of Molly's invasion and poor Severus' attempts to withstand her. Sev wearing an old green shirt was hilarious as was Harry's attempt to comfort him with the "put up a good fight" comment.

    The Ron/Harry bonding moments were great and I loved Harry's wisdom about Severus' bludgers.

    Great writing. The more I read of your story, the more I am impressed and I'm not usually much for alternate universe themes. But this is wonderful!

    Author's Response: I don't think Harry could have said anything in that moment that would have comforted Severus.  It takes a while for the ego to recover after a battle with Molly Weasley.  :D

    I know what you mean about not being much for certain stories.  Sometimes I'll take a chance on a story I wouldn't normally read, and be pleasantly surprised.  It's good to try new things.  :)

    I reread most of your story tonight and love it!!

    It seems to me that your story really concentrates on Snape. I like hearing his thoughts and, indeed, they have made the story a fun experience to read. I have been laughing all the way through.

    There is plenty of relationship growing between him and Harry, but it is definitely not overdone. I think he does like Harry, but it's been a slow growing of tolerance. He's probably not even sure what he feels and probably doesn't even care to know what he feels right now.

    Anyway, great story!

    This is an interesting story.

    I'm guessing it will be good that the wizarding world will soon all know for sure that Voldemort is back since Harry's classmates will spread the word. I'm curious if revealing Sirius' transformation will be for good or bad. Will Harry be deeply embarassed now that the Slytherins know about his childhood? So many questions . .. ..

    I'm a little surprised that Dumbledore doesn't seem to care that Harry's memories were viewed by other students. I agree with Hermione that it is a dangerous thing for Slytherins et al to know so much of what Harry knows. I would think that Severus would have thought so too.

    I'm also wondering if the Dumbledore thinks that Harry is just as guilty as Malfoy in their recent encounter. I know Harry should have kept on walking, but one would think that teachers might really want to teach their students that it is a really bad thing to deliberately provoke others.

    I feel really sorry for Harry.
