    This is quite well done. I wasn't sure about reading it at first, and actually passed over it several times because I wasn't sure that I could deal with something so AU, and also with something that wasn't made to bring Harry and Snape together, but was made to show two sides of both of them. However, I read the summary so many times that I became curious about it and couldn't stop myself from reading it, especially considering there wasn't much else to do in Health class. After reading the first chapter, however, I realized that you really are quite a decent writer and I became intruiged with the story, and here I am at home reading it when it's not my only option, which is saying quite a lot about your story... If you'll excuse my ramblings?

    i don't know which ones you referenced in this chapter, but the mother's condition sounds kind of like '50 first dates' except more realistic

    I haven't actually seen that movie, but I know the premise.  I think you're right about that.  :)  I'm fascinated by the concept of memory and how it affects who we are.
