    when you mentioned the blond at first i thought it was lucius. having it be tobias was much better.

    Author's Response: Thanks, you weren't the first to think that either.  I had people freaking out thinking Harry was going to be kidnapped by Lucius, when the truth was I never even thought of doing that to the poor kid. Lucius does make a reappearance in this story, but I won't tell you where, don't want to spoil it!

    funny about hedwig being there, but i understand literary license and all that. i like your writing style, flowing and simple without sounds dumbed down or corny, a hard balance to get. seeing the summary gives me hopes for this story- i'm thinking it's a short, sweet, snarry story? i'll have to read to find out, i guess. :))

Snape is left dying in the Shrieking Shack after giving Harry his memories convinced that Harry is going to his death. When Snape dies, he is given a chance to send his soul backwards in time seven years to give Harry a chance for a better (and hopefully longer) life.     i love the idea of snape going back in time. as a master occlumens, tho, i would think that snape would know better than to say quite as much as he did. maybe mention that harry might have been shielded from the wizarding world, but the entire story he was told? riddiculous. snape would know better. if the story actually got out later, they would either think harry had heard it from snape and was lying, or they would think snape really did know and his concerns for harry weren't genuine.. just saying. you asked for something meaningful, right?

    I hope harry's in gryffindor. i've read slytherin harry stories and i don't like them as well... tho i don't see that in the warnings so i'm guessing it's not going to happen? malfoy is still going to be a git, after all, and it's not like harry's any different than he was. he didn't want to be in slytherin cuz he didn't want to be w/ malfoy. early black escape would be cool, tho i'd rather harry live w/ snape.

    lol. you don't necessarily need to explain things in your AN's, sometimes the mystery is good. with ron and hermione in slytherin i don't mind that harry is. it's actually kind of interesting.. and perhaps i missed the warning. anyway, "good story. can't wait to read more". i'm assuming i'm allowed to say that after i've given you a meaningful review?

    the bit about harry's 6th year i had to read a couple times before understanding. my mind might be muddled from whatever sickness i have developed (some kind of head cold), but somehow i doubt it... i think you could have made it clearer that was in the last timeline... like, separate the 2 timelines somehow so we know you're not randomly jumping ahead to harry's 6th year
