I've also posted a story here, so R&R if you'd like, thanks! Author's Response: Thank you very much for letting me know that you are reading my story! I appreciate all reviews regardless how early or late they come :) I'm getting ready to read your new story. It looks really good! Thanks again for the review!
Author's Response: I saw that you posted! And I FINALLY get to sit down tonight and do some reading :) I can't wait. Thanks for taking the time to read my newest chapter and let me know what you thought!
Hooray that the site is back up and I can finally post again! I used the time it was down to write though! Update soon! Author's Response: I'm glad you enjoyed this chapter. Writing Ginny so vulnerable and confused actually was creepy for me...lol. Odd how my mind spins these eerie situations... And I definitely agree about asking for help. That whole concept was emphasized by countless people in Harry's life, and in the end, he finally accepts it from Ron and Hermione. But I suppose I'm exploring the effects of asking for help a bit early on for Harry. ;) Would have saved him a lot of grief... Well, thanks for the review! I spent some time this past week writing as well ;)
Author's Response: LOL...I once babysat a thirteen year old who never EVER wore a top/t-shirt with his pajamas. He hated wearing a besides his swim trunks, actually... He'd fight the issue 'til he was blue in the face... This was a bit of a fluffy chapter, but I'm glad you enjoyed it :) I appreciate your review! By the way, I'm sitting down in about five minutes to continue ploughing through some more of your story...
FYI--I've updated mine too, and you can find out Sev's reaction to Harry's homecoming. Author's Response: Hi! Thanks for the review :) Well, those are all good guesses, but I'll just wait and let you see... LOL. I'm getting ready to read and review your newest chapter right after I reply to reviews. I've been a bit busy with writing and work, and for some reason, I didn't see that you'd updated...I've been waiting for that chapter too!... ;)
FYI, I've just updated my story, you can finally discover things about Aria. Author's Response: I believe Severus to be an understanding person, even though he doesn't always show that quality so deliberately. I'm so glad you enjoyed this one :) Thanks for the review. I have noticed your mantra of updates, and mark my words: I will read and review as soon as I catch up with review responses and my newest chapter of my other story ;) I promise!
Author's Response: Thanks!! You're exactly right about the relationship between Harry and Severus growing in a more parental sort of way. That's mainly why Harry feels comfortable enough to be cheeky with Severus more than he should. However, the next (final) few chapters will test Harry's ability to truly listen and follow instructions. It will prove whether or not he's actually learned anything from Snape after all. ;) Thanks again for the great review! By the way, I've reviewed, but I just wanted to reiterate that your new story is fantastic. I can't wait to see what you do with it!
Anyway, I really liked the way you have Harry and Severus slowly developing their relationship here. I like the way Severus tells Harry that the rules adults make might seem incomprehensible to a child, but they're not just doing it to be mean, or stupid, that they have a purpose--to protect and safeguard children. And he's also right in telling Harry that he doesn't truly understand the sacrifice Lily and James made--how can he when all he knows is his parents in the abstract? I think it would be neat if Severus allowed Harry to see some of his memories of Lily and him as children, in a Pensive, that way Harry could learn of his mother as a person. or even just talking about her would be fine. Can't wait for the part with the chamber! FYI--I've updated mine too, now you can see what punishment Sev gave Harry! Author's Response: LOL...I always love being the first to review anything, but I usually don't get the chance, since it takes me a couple of days to read my updated favorites ;) The relationship between Harry and Severus is growing ever-so-slowly, and of course, the awkwardness is still going to emerge from time to time, but I'm really glad that you appreciate the syrupy progession. Mentioning Lily's and James' sacrifice for Harry's life and safety really hit home this time, and even though his explanations may have been vague and confusing for Harry (done on purpose, by the way), it really helped him understand the lengths adults take to keep him safe. And the idea about the pensieve is neat; however, something that special will most likely be attempted in the sequel ;) I, too, can't wait to write the final chapters of this story, as it seems like I've been working toward them forever! LOL. Thanks for all of the wonderful feedback! I've got a bad chest cold at the moment and haven't had a chance to read much, but I'll definitely check out your newest chapter after I reply :)
Author's Response: LOL! I could never stand Lockhart in the books. I like Kenneth Branaugh, so I could stomach him a bit more in the movies...but not by much. ;) Really glad you're still enjoying my story! Thanks so much for reviewing!
Author's Response: Hey, Kathy :) Yes, yes, I finally posted. It took me for-freakin'-ever. I know. I'm sorry. I'm off for the summer and I totally spent the first two days typing like a little weirdo in the corner of my favorite coffee shop. We're talking three-four hours a day in the same spot. LOL. And, oh...the finger flick. My parents never did it to us, but I could so see Snape doing it to that little pesky annoyance attached to his backside... AkA Harry. But of course, he's still concerned about him. He may not blatantly state that he loves Harry or that he wants the best for him, but in this case (allow me to be oh-so cliche) *hem hem* Actions speak louder than words. Oops, almost missed your question...young Tom. Well, no, not really. Not in the Chamber. And that's mainly because Dumbledore has the diary. Well, I'm very glad you enjoyed. And I appreciate your lovely review! |
