Slytherin!
"Read Read me a story, pleeaze Dad" drawn for my Never Again story, by artist SnapesYukuai. Picture refers to the incident where Harry brings his stuffed panther Inky to life through accidental magic. This took place just before that.
After Harry is caught for exploding a cauldron in 2nd year Potions, Snape insists he keep a firm hand on the boy he must secretly protect. However, he discoveres that there is more to the twelve year old than unruliness and disrespect. Similarly, Harry learns from and gains a new perspective of his professor.

- Yay! The basilisk is dead! And I love how you made them do it together, and with the traditional method instead of the sword and the diary. Great ending! Will they help to destroy the diary?
Author's Response: Well, the diary has been destroyed. But Snape and Dumbledore will discuss how it happened in the final installment. I had the basilisk scene planned for quite some time, and it was incredibly nerve-wracking to write...lol. I'm really glad you enjoyed it. 'Together' was just how I wanted them to be for that defeat--each of our boys did his part. ;) I appreciate your review, Kathy, and I hope you're having a good weekend!

- Yay! That was great and I hope harry goes to see Severus over the holidays, they need to spend more time together. I liked the way DD destroyed the diary and everything, and Harry's talk with Sev afterwards was wonderful. They finally seem to have reached an understanding.

- Hey, i really love this story and i like the way Snape is teaching Harry, even if he thinks he's a Muggle. I wish Harry would tell someone about Connor though, the miserable bastard. I'd love to see hi go a few rounds with Severus or even Harry's grandfather--that former Marine could take him apart.
And if Cathy knew she'd dump him like a hot potato!
I have a smiliar type of story posted here with a grown-up Harry and a young wizard who was abused that Severus adopts as his son, if you'd like to check it out.

- Awesome! Go Sev, I so wanted him to deck the miserable bum! And I'm glad that he still liked Harry once he knew the truth. It makes him a lot more believable, since his prejudice was based on hating an image not a person in the first place.
Can't wait for the next part. When will Cathy find out the truth about her husband?

- yes, you wrote another one! Loved the way you had Severus and Harry and Cathy go to Diagon Alley together and how everyone thinks Harry's his son! I laughed at that a lot. Will Sev eventually adopt Harry in this fic like your other ones?
The goblins and the roller coaster and the conversation with Moody were well done too! I should be updating mine shortly.

- Yay! You updated too! And I loved this chapter! What did Sev do to the Dursleys?? Will we ever know? I loved the buzzer thing, my nephew had one and used it on everyone, nearly gave my mom heart failure! LOL. I like how you have Harry make friends with the twins & stick up for Severus too! And he's a Slytherin too, which is where he belongs!

- I liked how you have Harry and Blaise being friends with each other and Harry nearly hexing Malfoy even though it was a bluff. And the twins were hilarious as usual. Loved the end and how Sev is going to find a picture of Lily to give Harry. Aww!

- I thought the whole thing was beautiful! I loved reading about Cathy and hope she gets a clue real soon about Connor. And the part with Sev giving Harry the broom and talking with him about Connor and with the troll was good also. The Quidditch match was well done and I'm not real good at writing them either, which is why I only have one scene with it in HYFP, I don't watch sports and am terrible writing about them. Can't wait for the next one! Will it include some kind of confrontation with Connor over Harry?

- Nick was awesome, I've wanted to beat the ever loving *** out of Connor since the day he hit Harry. I'm glad Sev came to spend Christmas with them, he needs a surrogate family. The gifts were sweet.
But it looks like Harry has amnesia. Maybe he needs to see a wizard healer? Update soon!
