- Awww I do love how Harry gets a temper going and Severus is always there for him, too cute, I also love how they want to do things together as father and son : )
Author's Response: Thank you! Yeah, Harry can have a bit of a temper, though in this case I do think he's right...Severus is unfair to the Gryffindors and especially harsh with Neville who doesn't deserve it. But he didn't broach the matter in the smartest way at first. But his headache was bothering him so maybe that's partially an excuse. Once he calmed down and was more reasonable...and maybe more 'Slytherin' in getting his point across, he had more success. Thanks again!

- Cool first day, I love that Bill is teaching DADA, he would be such a cool teacher lol Im really intrigued to know what Draco's story is though, I know you are getting to it lol
Author's Response: Thank you! I think Bill could be a good teacher too. As for Draco, he has something going on, probably another couple chapters before it comes out.

- Awww loved the 'detention' for the trio, I cant believe that Draco and co attacked Harry and co like that! what is that boy thinking! I cant remember, does Draco know that Harry is a slave by his spell? I dont think he does but its been a while since he cast it lol : )
Author's Response: Thank you! Well, I don't think Draco is thinking very clearly just now. No, Draco doesn't know that Harry is a slave at this point. Glad you liked the 'detention', lol.

- Ooh Harry is brave! he should know how much Severus likes to torment Gryffindors lol, I was glad to see that Umbridge is being punished, evil meanie she is! : )
Author's Response: Thank you! Yes, I remembered that I needed to wrap up the Umbridge angle, and yes, Severus might not be very willing to change his teaching style right away, even for Harry.

- Yay for new chappies! hehe I liked this one, poor little Alex though...im glad Harry was able to be there, although it did seem like Malfoy was about to step in even if he had just threatened him...hmm..lol I cant wait to see what happens yet..as usual lol : )
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm glad you liked it. Yes, Draco was about to step in. He's angry and hurt that Alec has taken his spot, so he was sort of blustering around being a bully, but he wasn't going to actually take it to a physical level. Crabbe just got carried away (a shark scenting blood comes to mind).

- Aww poor Harry, at least he knows now why he should listen to his guardian lol, sweet moment at the end with Severus climbing in with Harry so that he could be there when he wakes :)

Author's Response: Thank you! Yeah, poor Harry; he does need a break. Well, Severus doesn't realize what's going on yet, but no doubt he will be quite ferociously protective of Harry when he does.

- Aww...poor Harry and poor Draco, I almost felt sorry for him at the end, he must have felt awful to lose both his mum and Severus like that, even if it was his own stupid fault...will he be a reformed character in the story? I always thought he could have been given the right guidence, literally cant wait for more! :)
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm glad you felt some sympathy for Draco. I have mixed feelings about him, both in canon and here. In canon, he never reached his potential, I felt. He was affected somewhat by the war, but essentially remained the same spoiled brat he was in the beginning. Here, well, Draco has been greatly affected by witnessing his mother's murder, but he still has a lot to learn about compassion and empathy for others. Thanks again!
