- aww! i just love sev, i want one of him, he is so sweet being protective of harry "you're my child now and no one will ever hurt you again" possibly the sweetest line of the story his far! bring on the updates lol
Author's Response: Thank you! I wondered if that line might be a bit much at this point, but I also do see Severus as being a person who feels very deeply, even if he is somewhat reticent about showing it, and with Harry being asleep, it helps him to open up. And I think once Severus did care for someone that he would be extremely protective.

- oh man! i just got back off of holiday to find 2 new chapters and i was all excited cause this is one of my fave reads and now the cliffe? that really is mean! i love the way harry and sev are starting to bond, the whole gradual process is so cute and realistic that they didnt just become soppy at the start, even though i wanted sev to hug him after his nightmare! seriously looking forward to more and hoping harry and sev escape unhurt!

- yay volde is dead! i think the action scene was fine it got all the important things in without too much waffle which is how i think one should be, im really looking forward to the next chapter though, i also love a juicy bit of angst! just a question though, did i miss something in a previous chapter that said harry would be released from the slavery spell if voldemort died? or is that comment he made about being free yet to be explained? i hope you decide to keep him with snape i cant wait to see how their relationship develops, bring on the angst!! lol

Oh, thank you! No, Harry won't be freed from the slavery spell just because of Voldemort's death. His thoughts about being free are referring to his decision to kill himself once he'd defeated Voldemort. Harry sees his death as a means of freedom right now.

- aww poor severus, i want to lay with him and give him a hug! he cant lose harry now even to the weaslys and even if the spell is somehow reversed, harry needs to learn to love him in the end! im looking forward to harry waking up and realising he's alive, should be quite a shock to him followed by some serious harry angst!! i love it
Author's Response: Thank you! Severus could probably use a hug now, couldn't he? But he might jinx us if he heard that. I don't think Severus will lose Harry, though it might be a close thing for a time. Harry will learn to love Severus, too. Harry has a very loving heart and he wants a family. The trouble right now is that he just doesn't really believe that Severus could love him.

- ooh i love it! bless harry thinking comforting thoughts about dying, he is so cute in his angst, i loved how he could see through sev's stiff apology to see him feeling uncertain, have i mentioned he is also cute in his own kind of angst!

Author's Response: Thank you! Yes, poor Harry...he does have a hard time believing that anyone really loves him because he feels unworthy, deep inside. But Severus, Ron, and Hermione will do their best to convince him otherwise.
