    Nicely written. I'm sort of curious as to why Snape didn't magically clean the garage though? It would be done too quickly perhaps? Anyway, nice work. I'll be looking forward to the next chapter.

    If severus finished too quickly, vernon would have been suspicious which could only lead to more trouble and you also forget that Snape is impersonating Harry and Harry is still bound by the rules reguarding under age sorcery.  thank you so much for the reviews!

    I loved this chapter. You really write Tobias wonderfully. He isn't just some cardboard cutout, he actually seems human and had emotional depth. I love that he's looking back on his son's childhood with regrets and trying to do better with Harry. I love your last sentence too! Can't wait for Sev to wake up and to see the fall out!

    Author's Response: Thanks so much, Tobias was a difficult character for me to write because I wasn't sure how to portray him at first, and then I finally got the idea to just make him a man who had a lot of problems and was just beginning to realize the mistakes he had made and how he didn't want to repeat them with his grandson.  I love writing stoies with redemptive themes, because I believe that everyone deserves a second chance if they want it.
