- I love this story. I love this series. I am sorry the domain "skyehawke" disappeared (or should I say "Disapparated") on you. You could do worse than to place A FAMILY LIKE NONE OTHER here at Potions and Snitches...and it would be appreciated, too. Not to mention re-build an audience for you, since new chapters would bring the AYLNO series to a whole new set of readers. Something to think about! And in the meantime, here's another "10".

- " ' But to stay in the dungeons, with you?...No offense, all right, but look at you! You'll make him pee his pants, Professor'... Snape's soft laugh sounded wickedly amused..." This is one of the funniest images you've written. There used to be a cartoon where someone had drawn Snape with horns, and he approvingly catches sight of himself in a mirror, gloating, "This will terrify the first years!" If you can still find something called "The Naked Snape Awards," it's in there. (Good luck finding it; I haven't seen it in years, alas.)

- Wow! What a great final line for the chapter! Never saw that one coming! (Or not here, at any rate!)
As Harry enters his sixth year at Hogwarts, Voldemort's lengthening shadow stretches across the wizarding world and Harry is tormented by the knowledge that he alone can end this reign of terror. Worse, his mysterious mental link to Voldemort is stronger than ever and threatens to overwhelm him. Only Snape can teach him to control the nightmarish visions, but can Harry and Snape learn to trust one another, or will an old grudge that refuses to die destroy the wizarding world's sole hope of defeating the Dark Lord?

- This is your greatest chapter. You really laid Harry's nerves bare in this one--and exposed the love that's in his core. I weep every time I read it, right along with Harry.

- I've lost track of the number of times I'm read and enjoyed this story and its sequel. Likewise, I've lost track of how many times I've recommended these stories to HP lovers being "as good as two more Harry Potter books!" No kidding, I always start with your works when introducing new readers to HP fanfiction. Anyway, my favorite line rediscovered in this chapter is "I personally have no experience at killing anyone with kindness." Nope! No one would disagree with Severus on that one! Thank you once again for having written this story and its sequel. I will always give you "10" whenever I review any chapter--you deserve to have these rediscovered over and over again.
Post OOP: Harry, still haunted by the events at the DOM, escapes Privet Drive and Snape becomes his unwilling accomplice. Horses and motorbikes.
