    Yay! Coming to the end after fifty -two chapters, phew bit of a marathon read there, but well worth it. This story is brill! thanks for posting it, arhhhh it all turned out well in the end. Draco's like Harry's brother in a way, their so close. Perhaps Draco understands Harry better than anybody else. One thing that bothers me a bit, is after Harry got his memories back after the summer there wasn't much mention of what really happened to the two, their relationship changed and they remembered that it changed, so wouldn't they become closer in the present as well? I wonder if Snap will ever give Harry that picture. I digress, its still a marvelous achievement, bravo!!!

    This story is great so far, i really like your style, the dialogue between Snape and Dumbles is masterfully crafted, not too strained or implausible but pitched just right to be realistic. Well done.

    Oh i like it. The way you right is spellbounding. Clear. Consise and to the point. I especially like this part:

    "It was the most curious feeling.

    It was like... magic.

    The way sensation rushed from every point their bodies touched. The way something in the small fragile weight sitting on his hip was reaching into his chest, clutching at his heart, squeezing it.

    It seemed Harry felt it too, for with a sigh, almost as if the puppet had had his strings cut, he lay his head on his father's shoulder.

    "Daddy," he murmured, white hot heat of damp breath against the skin of Snape's neck.

    Arms tightened, that mysterious magic spell shifting through him like blood through veins, like a living thing. Severus breathed in the child's scent and a word pulsed in his brain.

    Mine."

    Oh that last part was brilliant. You can almost feel the possessiveness take hold of him before he's even given it another thought its enraptured him.
    Can't wait to read one.

    I forgot just how rich and beautiful this story is, i was rereading the first story and was wondering if Draco and Harry will become closer, and whether the distance and animosity between them is put on or real? That fire chess game was bloody brilliant, "but it was only a small fire..." lol. Will Draco come for Christmas to Snapedragon manor? that would be interesting.
    I like how you manage to capture little unexpected moments like the image of Snape's face at seeing Draco and Harry (probably slight dishevelled from their little scruff) going on a picnic, lol, it reminds me of that little scene (the best moment by far in you stories) where Snape tells Harry quite out of the blue, just before he gets on the train, that he is his son and that he loves him. Arh.
    Looking forward to more.
