- Oh are you going to continue the story? it has great potential, not sure where you could go with it from here, but i;m sure you had something in mind when you wrote the first chapter. Your characters are well done, particularly the mannerisms, not sure that Dumbles has a mostache though.
Author's Response: I wish i could, the chapter i wrote for this im just not pleased with it. Maybe i should rewrite a different one. hehe
Harry receives a very special gift on his 16th birthday that leads him to the help he needs...Snape is finding respite from his growing pressures and discovers one in need of help. Despite himself, he finds he CAN grow close to another living being. Only..."everything would've been so much simpler if it'd actually been a cat"...

- I completely forgot about this story- not sure how!- but remembered it straight away after half of the first chapter, I mean how many stories are there out there in which Harry turns into a cat! vampire yes, Sphynx yes, guardian of the forest yes, cat? no. :) But i don't think i've reviewed before, and would just like to say that this story is brilliant, it really works! I like how Snape could have a pet- *coughs* no familiar, and miss its company, lol, but not want to tell anybody about it- its just very Snape like. Anyway, please update soon.
Author's Response: thanks a lot, some people have told me that ' there are so many stories with Harry being a cat", but actually with Snape implied, I could only find one that was slash ;-) I hope it doesn't get boring ! Actually I had two persons on the translation and thought it would go faster, but the one who was translating chap.10 has finished, and the one translating chap.9 had given up. So I'll have to wait for the next chapter to be translated now, so frustrating !

- Yay yay yay!!! I love this story. About time for a paradigm shift. I like whenever Snape talks affectionally about Harry he always refers to him as the cat, "Nobody hurts my cat" lol, brilliant.

- Bugger you made me cry. Well that's a first. I can honestly say that I've never cried over fanfiction and I've read a lot! This story is so beautifully crafted, everybody should read it. The subtle shifts and turns are genius, the high point for me being the conversation about the plants, ohh its not Dragonwort that they're talking about me thinks.........
"No. They'll never be the same." Snape gathered soil around the last flower and pressed it into place. "Do you see the scars along the stems? Do you know what they're from?"
Harry traced a long, jagged scar on one stem and shook his head.
"From struggling out of the rocky earth. It tears at them, shredding some of them. But some survive their wounds to grow and bloom."
"Couldn't you plant them in softer soil?"
Snape shook his head. "Then they wouldn't be dragonwort."
*then they wouldn't be dragonwort* you can just feel the tension. Poor Harry. Hopefully he'll find stronger roots in this plane, and he'll bloom. Well one can only hope he definitely deserves it after the crappy life he's had. On another note, it must be even worse for the other Harry who's lived a comparably 'softer'-if that's the right terminology- life, to be planted among the rocks, or more appropriately the 'wolves?', lol.

Well, that's good! Writing this affects me emotionally all the time, so it's nice to know I'm not alone! :)
The dragonwort can represent a lot of things. I tried not to get too message-y with it, so you can just take it literally, or interpret it in different ways. But yes, the clearest interpretation is that it's about Harry. :)

- I love the little slip of the tongue, 'i prefer a household of two thank you very much' lol, hmm... intriguing, i smell potential, LOL. I can't wait to get back to the other dimension Harry(1) and see what's transpiring. Its nice to see Harry(2) here talk about his father and get a glimpse of what living with a amnesiac mother and well quite frankly controlling - in a good way!!!- father does to a person, he seems just as messed up (not as much as Harry 1 is)in his own little way. Please update soon, you've left on a tantalisingly high note.

Yes, I think this Harry has had a better family life than his counterpart…but certainly not a perfect life. The love between father and son has dampened the conflict between these two different personalities, but it's still there. And the stresses of Voldemort and his mother…Harry is probably due for a teenage rebellion in a few years. ;)

- Sorry, i just have to say that the 'beans on toast gate' was brilliant, and to defend all beans on toast loving people. But really you made me laugh for about ten minutes with that little scene it was just brilliant, he was like a sulking child sitting there twiddling his buttons moaning whilst being told off, (I can just imagine the faces he was pulling lol) and then telling the mother hen to take her henning else where. lol.
Can't wait for another chapter and more banter.

- Severus downed his without question although he didn’t care for the look in her eyes when she handed it to him—unless he missed his guess, there was going to be a suggestion of mindhealers in the near future. Probably the very near future. Alastor glared for a bit, considering the two vials he was handed from all angles before he finally took them. Perhaps St. Mungos offers a two-for-one special.
Ohh i love your wit, this is the best line ever, lol. You capture his Character so well, its a joy to read.
Harry's life is turned around and upside down when a late night visitor from the future tells him the unthinkable. Now he must convince Snape to teach him Occlumency, get along with Draco Malfoy and survive through what Voldemort has planned for him.

- I like it, Older harry is scary though...can't imagine him ever turning that bitter and cold, maybe he's taking lessons from Snape, lol. But well life never runs in a smooth line, and well it would be boring if it did wouldn't it. Can't wait to read on. Good Job! :)
