[The below was rhetorical by the way *grins*] Poor Harry, i hope Snape and Dumbles admit the truth to him soon. At least his new found ability would allow him to run away completely if things ever got too much for him but still be in plain sight and safe.

    Author's Response:

Hmmm.... I don't think his 'face' will let him hide for much longer...:) Although not being Harry Potter, comes with certain advantages... like loosing Lockhart (I just can't stand the man - and he's fictional!)

“Sometimes all a pain riddled Gryffindor cub needs to leave his wounds to someone else,”
You need to add 'is' in there for this sentence to make sense, making it "Sometimes all a pain riddled Gryffindor cub needs, is to leave his wounds to someone else."
and i'm not sure that it sounds right to say that they were locked in a physiological duel unless they were doing something other that arguing, perhaps you meant psychological duel?

    Author's Response:

    Yah... oops...

I got a little bored waiting for my beta.... and just updated

I've checked the next chapter a little better.

Oh that was unexpected!!! Blaise?!! Twin? Snape? (Okay so i kind of saw that one coming). Poor Harry or should i say *Saige*, Snape must know about Harry it would be sad if he's not telling him because he still hates him.
Please please please update soon, can't wait for the next chapter.

Author's Response: Keep reading Cecilia. If you want answers on Snape - re read the conversation between Cryus and himself... there are a few cues on how Snape feels there.

I read this story awhile back its quite good. I like the beginning; the explosion made the six o'clock news, its really quite a dramatic entrance into it. Good work. Can i ask, was it you who wrote that hilarious piece on fanfiction.net about how to make a fanfiction story, if it was your a bloody genuis had me laughing for ten minutes.
    Oh well.
Thanks again for the story. Looking forward to reading more.

Great Chappie!!! I particularly liked this part
" The smooth spheres winked at him…the small orbs cool against his skin, like the ice had been against his storm…the chips of Voldemort…Harry fingers dug around the stones as a wave of dizziness washed through him. He grabbed at the floor for support, but its smooth surface offered little assistance. He could feel himself falling and the void was so immense..."

He could feel himself falling and the void was so intense, *shudders*, if that's how he reacts to something as small as a gobstone in the quiet of his room, it can't take much to send him over the edge completely, i also liked the way you alluded to his state of mind in the shower 'scrubbing as though to get himself clean, but he could never be clean enough'. Lack of sleep isn't the cause, and he knows it, do both of them know it? Severus must have an idea that something deeper is going on with Harry. I wonder what he would do if he knew how bad it actually is? Thanks again for the wonderful chapter, eloquent as always.
    :)

    Author's Response:

LOL  Well, you know it's gonna happen one of these times...going over the edge I mean.  :oP  It wouldn't be LC, without someone going round the bed.  Hee hee.  Severus is very concerned about Harry; he can feel the emotions Harry is feeling but he is feeling similarly on his own with what he went through and right now, he's having a very hard time separating what's wrong with Harry and what he feels on his own.  I'm glad you liked the shower part.  Harry really feels tainted by what happened.  It was too much evil.  His soul was coated.  Ick.  And Brrrr....

Thanks for reviewing.  I'm so happy you enjoyed.  :o)

Yay another chapter! Brilliant. I love how Harry no matter the situation can still find joy, his reaction to the hall full of people for instance, he could of run off or scowled at everybody, but despite himself he found elation: such a natural reaction. Snape's reaction was brilliant, lol. I wonder what's next, they seem to be getting closer and dare i say it 'bonding'. your Scrimogreour is fantastically true to life you can just feel the oilyness. lol
    :)))

Author's Response: Yep, Harry, with all his sometimes teenage moodiness, is still basically a happy person.  And with all that attention, how could he not be elated.  It's such positive attention so far as well.  It's just gotta feel good.  Glad you liked Sev's reaction. LOL  I love this Scrimgeour.  Such a politician.  He's fun to write.  :o)  Thanks for reviewing.

I love long chapter's and this is long and well written. Its strange i don't know how you do it but one moment its all ladeda alls well with the world and BOOM black hole of despair, lol. And its so unexpected. Harry's in his own little world, obviously numb refusing to see anything bad firmly in the land of denial, phasing in and out, not himself??? that's not a hint is it? leading to some sinister conclusion or plot line... Ohhhh more more more.

Author's Response: LOL  I am chuckling here.  Black hole of despair...  I do so love to twist you all around with la di da and then shove the angst down your throats.  It's just fun.  It wouldn't be LC without a bit of that.  :oP  And as for sinister plotlines...well, do you really expect anything else?  :oP   I'm so glad you enjoyed it and the long length especially.  It's my longest chapter yet.  YAY

NOOOOOOOOOOOOO Your too cruel, Voldermorts back!!! Poor Snape he's got to save Harry from the icy darkness, you can't kill him that would just be evil, its getting to the end of the series (?) and to kill him now would be exceedingly depressing... Snape would completely break to pieces and Remus and Ginny would be heart broken the love of her life gone, taken by voldermort. Has Voldermort being controlling Harry??? was it him speaking (in a sense) at the dinner party?
Come on you can't kill off-Harry, no matter the angst riddled charater of LC, for you'd be committing character genocide, nobody would ever be the same ever again. *Finger crossed* come on Harry fight lol :D, i'm holding out for a fluffy ending regardless of the all indicators.

    Author's Response:

Well, no.  Voldemort is dead.  But yeah, someone better start saving Harry from the icy darkness before it's too late.  *evil cackling*

If Harry dies, yep it will be a very short sequel.  The other one was 55 chapters!  LOL  Voldemort has not been controlling Harry, nope.  He's dead.

You are cracking me up!  Character genocide...   ROFL

    Keep those fingers crossed!  :oD

Title: Chapter 8: Chapter 8: Black 13 Jun 2008

    Gulp.

Are they going to bring Sirius to Harry to show him that he doesn't hate him at all and that 'Voldermort' (or whatever that thing is) is trying to take his soul for himself? This must mean that he hasn't completely succeeded right? or that he has succeed and Harry's beyond the veil now, with 'Voldie' doing horrible things to him (?) and that Snape's going to kick his arse with the help of Sirius of course.

Oh dark very dark, can it get any darker? This chapter's like midnight black- you know that blackness you get in the countryside at night, a blackness that is really black, not that crappy dark you get in the city or towns. I have a feeling the next chapter's going to be as black as that black those scientists have created which is completely black to its core, which sucks in all light an all-comsuming insatiable black hole. Oh alright enough with the black analogies, need more!!!!

    Harryyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!! come back. lol.

You portrayed Snape perfectly, you painted it so clearly that i was there in my minds eye, the wobble of the jaw that wasn't a wobble the 'non-jealous' that Snape felt when Remus embraced Sirius, the heart-wrenching pain that flashed across Severus face when he let his son go. The empty green eyes.... Snape holding his son as a baby. *Sniff* that flash back was brilliant and perfectly placed.

Arch please update soon, its inhumane to leave it here while we all salivate for more.
    Cecilia

    Author's Response:

    Gulp is right.  LOL

LOL  There might be some arse kicking, yes.

I love that country-side black.  It's like that in my hometown.  There's not lights on our street.  Eeks.

Thanks so much for your compliments.  And for letting me know the specifics of what you liked.  :o)
