Harry and Snape are thrown together by annoying relatives, a series of strange dreams, and Voldemort's latest hunt for Harry, but their greatest challenge may well be surviving each other. This will be a long summer unless the two can find a way to work together. A slow-burn enemy-to-mentor story.

- i agree with severus's teaching methods really. i'm not a perfectionist, but my mum is and it drives me crazy, but my work ends up really good. i do hope draco and harry get along. anyway, please update soon.

- uh oh. they're in huge trouble. maybe it'll teach them something. i don't know how you manage to get out such huge chapters so frequently, but i'm not complaining! by the way, in the letter from ron, it's not gramatically correct to say, shouldn't of. it should be, shouldn't have. anyway, please update soon!

Author's Response: Yes, I know, it's dialect, I'm doing it on purpose. And the nightmares are a reflection of Harry's emotional state, which is very insecure and traumatized. But eventually he will get better with Severus's help. Thanks as always for your review!

Author's Response: Thanks so much, I'm very pleased with this one. I tried to add some new details into Harry's background instead of the usual ones, and I wanted Draco to see the contrast between the way Snape punishes them and the way Harry was punished...the one is fair, disicpline, and it is finite, the other is cruel, abuse, and never ended until Sev came to Harry's rescue.
