- The chapter I have been waiting for!!! AWWWWW....Snape is a DA!!! I loved the thoughts they each had at the end - thinking back to 5 months before and realizing how much better every thing is because of the presence of each other. Dumbledore was so right, 2 damaged people who needed each other!!

- NO COFFEE IN THE MORNING!!!! AGHHH! It was probably fortunate that it was Snape and not me facing that - hexes would have flown from MY wand!! (Calming down...) It was cute how the house elves have all rallied around Harry - and cute how Minerva rallied for Snape at lunch time!
I am enjoying watching Snape concoct a scheme, for what other reason would he want aurors in his classroom?? How nice, also, that he is including Harry in the preparation - one sure way of keeping him for going of on his own to take care of the rat!! Can't wait for the Friday before the holiday break!

- No wonder Snape terrorizes students on a regular basis - it can be so handy at times in dealing with their older relatives!! Such fun seeing the Professor do his worst in that first year class - classic snarky! I also like the picture of the house elves en masse coming to apologise to Snape for keeping his coffee from him - what he has to put up with because of Harry!
Can't wait to see how the class with Harry goes!

- What a chapter! Snakes, and rats, and werewolves... and in the end Snape resolving to do whatever he needed to keep Harry as safe as possible. Your Potions Master has chosen a hard and dangerous path for himself, all for a boy he hated just 5 months ago!
I liked the protection Harry got in this chapter - besides Snape Neville came forward, and the image of Hedwig going at Peter's eyes when he was threatening Harry was most exciting.
Now with Peter gone Voldesnort has one less eager (sort of!) minion to help him. Yay Snape!
And on to Christmas!!!

- So the Snape again has to sit with Harry and go over the facts of life as they pertain to the Boy Who Lived (yes, there is danger and yes his Da would protect him from everything to the best of his ability) - I love those heart to hearts that Snape cringes from! Now he is also resident uncle to the Weasley clan, which is sure to get him in much more trouble than Harry ever could!!!
I loved the chapter - the Christmas sounds like it will be a ball for Harry!!!

- Count on Sirius to give the most unusual Christmas gift! I like Hildy (can't say that for too many other OCs created by other authors for our Potions Master) so I hope we see her again.
I also loved hearing about Harry's time with the Weasleys. I like that Ginny has gotten over her hero worship much earlier than in canon - Harry can use friends, not dumbstruck groupies.
This holiday was such a nice break for the boys - they both deserve it!

- Umbridge - already!! If the pink toad thinks she can try anything with Harry she is going to find out things are not going to go her way, I am sure! So, after the wonderful holiday break our boys are in thick of things again - Dobby, Umbridge, and a mysterious book that Pansy picks up. The mind boggles at all of the possible scenarios!
I also loved the little heart to heart that Harry and his Da had about the Dursleys. It makes me all mushy and squeeful when the Professor hugs Harry and reninforces how special he is!

- What an action-packed chapter, starting with Severus hexing his own furniture (I love the picture that brings to mind), to Harry running away from home in fear of Dumbledore!!! Umbridge has created enough havoc for 10 Dark Lords at this point, and is about as welcome at Hogwarts! I was out of breath after reading everything that happened here - can't wait to see if the Professor can come to the rescue yet again for Harry!

- I am so glad that Harry and Dumbledore got their misconceptions straightened out in this chapter. Snape is still right to be careful about trusting what Dumbledore will want Harry to do, but it is good that Harry can now be more trusting than he was before. I liked the heart to heart Harry and Snape had at the beginning as well, when the Professor reminds Harry that it is the adult who should be taking care of the child. Oh, and I hope we get a chance to see Snape's TWO houses - I am curious about that as well!!!
