Author's Response: I know, I needed them too while I was writing.
Excellent! Author's Response: I just loved that part, I felt a little comic relief was needed to balance the tragic tone to follow.
And now we come to Inky... Author's Response: Me too! And you're right . . .Inky comes next! Hooray!
Author's Response: That was in my mind as I was writing, my mom always said if she was going to go, she'd pray it be in her sleep and without any pain, not suffering from canacer or whatever. I have to say i agree. Make it quick, if at all possible. Hope you like the final chapter, it's posted now!
Author's Response: Thanks! I know this one was tough to read, but now you can read the sequels and be happy again. Sickly and neglected by his caregivers, little Harry would not have survived were it not for the mysterious dark angel who watched over him, caring for him when he was sick. Harry never knew his name, until he attended Hogwarts and discovered a certain teacher bore a remarkable resemblance to his savior.

Author's Response: You're right, I had to do some research on gemstones and their healing properties in order to select the right stone for Sev's ring. I like protective Minerva, she really cares a lot for Sev and Harry and is not afraid to show it! Hope you like the next part, it's just been posted now!
Keep it up! Author's Response: yes, it could have, but I felt Neville was more believable. I should be posting the next chapter shortly.
Author's Response: Here's a tissue . . .so glad you liked it and there's more to come.
Author's Response: I had a lot of time to write while I was away on vacation. it was very peaceful and quiet by the lake in the Pocono mountains.
I loved the bitin the Great Hall - go Harry! When I first rad this scene in canon back in '97 I was so incensed for the Slytherins and always felt that Snape's true hatred of Harry really took off from that point. The kid had stolen his cup! Before that, I think he just looked at Harry as another annoyance that had to be tolerated. Great Chapter! Author's Response: I saw soap being made at a demonstration in a colonial style village once and have read about it, but never tried making it myself. So I'm glad I captured the feeling right, I love handmade soaps, however. People don't realize how much work it is though, which was why I had Sev use it as a punishment. And the squid ink too. I always felt that part at the end was horridly unfair, too, after all the Slytherins had worked hard academically to win all those points and to have their cup snatched out from under their noses by three kids who had broken all the rules and then were rewarded for it was just terrible. Plus, the cup was intended as an academic reward and also for good conduct, and what the three had done had nothing to do with academics or good conduct, just with being heroes. yes, they saved the school, but if Dumbledore wanted to reward them he should have done so privately, not given them points towards the cup. That was just blatant favoritism and you're right, I think that was when Snape started to hate Harry, since he seemed to get away with everything, just like James had. I'm glad you enjoyed my version of events. |
