Rather than allowing Harry to stay at Diagon Alley after he blew up Aunt Marge, the Ministry sends Harry back to the Dursleys. Harry returns to school after a terrible summer, to find that he's not the only one with this kind of secret. A student has been killed by his family. New screening measures are put into place by the Ministry: Every student must be given a medical exam and interview to look for child abuse. With Dumbledore facing an inquiry, Snape is entrusted with the task of making sure EVERYONE receives one.

- The whole necromancy thing is getting more interesting, especially with the founder, Hufflepuff having been a necromancer. It would be interesting to here more about what happened with Salazar.
I'm also glad you didn't have Black and Severus in a big fight over Harry. I wonder what Albus was intending?

- I've really enjoyed this story. Sorry to see it end. Hope to see a sequel. It would be interesting if like, in fourth year after cedric is dead and the controversy of whether voldemort is back is 'solved' by Cedric 'telling' Severus and Minerva what happened and then they are in trouble for being Necromancers .... *shrug* ... could be interesting.

- I've really enjoyed this story, even with the convoluted 'how did he end up with two sons almost the same age' issue. The Severus in your story is alot more IC than in many stories (including mine). The boys interaction has been believable - jealousy between siblings is quite usual especially when one is defending what he believes is his exclusive territory. Keep up the good work!!

Harry Potter is not a happy child. He carries a danger inside him that manifests itself soon after he arrives at Hogwarts, and it falls to his new Head of House, Severus Snape, to protect Harry, even from himself…
