At Lily's request, Albus Dumbledore has kept a secret from Severus Snape for 17 years. When Dumbledore learns that this secret plays a vital role in the war, however, it is Snape who is left to deal with the consequences. As Harry's true parentage is revealed, both his and Snape's futures become uncertain. The two must learn to work together in order to survive. PreHBP.

- Amazing chapter as usual GBF!
I can't believe how fast that you've updated.
Okay, so Harry is struggling with insecurity. He feels jealousy at seeing Hermione constantly doing better than him. He feels that he is disappointing his father yet again. The relationship is new, so that is normal.
I'm very suspicious about Kinaird. I feel that he is up to something and I'm afraid that he's going to betray Draco and possibly Harry and Snape.
Speaking of Draco, I'm very worried for him. He is on very precarious footing here, and I worry that someone soon is going to be suspicious of what he's up to.
I wonder what Dumbles will say when he hears that Snape is training Draco over Kinaird.
Fantastic chapter GBF. I can't wait for the next one. You weren't kidding when you said that you worked your but off on this.

- Oh wow! Great chapter Rebecca.
I feel bad for Harry, but he really picked the wrong way to get his father to listen to him. Snape regards respect above all else and Harry trying to dictate to him, or at least Snape viewing it that way, was totally the wrong approach for Harry to get his father to treat him as an adult.
I just don't trust Kinnaird nor Malfoy. Hmmm...what are they up to? Curious, very curious.
LOL Dumbles, gotta love the guy. But he just can't put anything over on Snape, and if Snape feels like he's being ganged up on, then he will never ease up on Harry.
I just wonder how many frogs he has to gut, or cockroaches he has to dissect before he gives in. Harry really "is" a stubborn Gryffindor! LOL
I just can't wait for the next chapter!!! I really hope that Harry apologises to his father and then maybe Snape will ease up on him a bit.
Phew, great job Rebecca. Missed this story for so long. I'm just so glad that you're back, and make no mistake about it---you're back with a vengence!

- Wonderful chapter as usual GBF and I can't believe that you've updated 3 times in a month. You are brilliant. What do you do? Speed write?
Ooh, Harry, you and your dad just finally came to an understanding and you might be jeopardizing it all by keepint this secret from him.
I am worried that Snape will be less than pleased to find out that Harry and his friends are putting themselves in danger and possibly putting in danger all that Snape has worked hard for.
If Lucius or Draco catches on to the fact that they are being followed, this could put Hermione, Ron and Harry is danger! I am so worried for them.
Can you imagine? Lucius would probably drag the three of them to Voldemort. At the very least, Snape would be furious to find out that once again, Harry is putting his plan at risk, and that is the 'best' scenrious that could happen. Harry could possibly be captured, tortured and killed.
Oh, my heart is beating a million miles a minute. It's a good thing that I have a good heart!!! Reading your wonderful story is putting me on the edge of my seat!
Oh, and gotta love Dumbles so-called 'not interfering'. LOL
Cherries? That is so Dumbledore. He loves his sweets. Lemon Sherberts and such.
Okay, so please update soon. I'm literaly on the edge of my seat waiting to find out what happens next.
My favourite story! And I thought that it was to be abandoned. Imagine my surprise at 3 updates in a month! Great job. Can't wait for more.

- Great chapter as usual GBF. I especially loved the White Magic scene and the back story of Lily. Very well done, and so credible.
Oh dear. Harry, you are giving Severus grey hair!! LOL. Snape is actually restraining himself very well, even though it sounds as though he is close to popping a blood vessel in doing so! LOL
Oh no! Poor Tibby. Snape was a little rough on her. I have a feeling that he'll be descending upon Ron and Harry, now that he's finshed putting Harry through the wringer.
Great job. I can't wait for the next chapter.

- Omg!!! That was amazing!
I love how Severus manages to find a way to keep the kids in line, while still making it seem as though he is giving them more trust and responsibility--well, he is doing that too, but also finding a way to make them have an adult to answer to at the same time.
I'm so glad that Lupin is going to be playing a bigger role, but I do feel bad for Snape. He keeps getting ignore, and I am beginning to get peeved at the Headmaster!!
Can't wait for the next chapter. I'm so loving this story, even more than before, and that's saying something, because it's always been at the top of my favourite's list.

- Oh God! How does Lucius always manage to come out without blood on his hands, so to speak.
I am worried that Harry's 'dabbling' is what is the cause of Voldemort's sudden knowledge of Harry's power.
I do love how Remus and Snape are working together; Snape is really making progress here!
I still don't trust Kinnaird OR Draco for that matter.
So glad that you've updated. You're writing just keeps getting better and better. Hard to believe that you only started this story when you were 16.

- Refresh my memory. What happened to Harry's map? Does Snape have it? Did he confiscate it at some point? Can't remember.
Well, this is getting very tricky now, isn't it? I am very worried for Harry AND Snape. After all, Lucius already kidnapped Harry once from the school and brought him to Voldie; what's to stop him from doing it again? And now, Lucius would have father AND son to serve to voldie on a silver platter, and be in his good graces even more.
Aw, I love Snape and his snark and wit! lol Harry does sure know how to push his buttons though, but it makes it that much more fun to watch them interact. lol
Great job as usual and I'm looking forward to seeing how Draco solves this dilemma.
