- When Harry was looking at the wood, I almost thought he would go and chop it to get on Ian's good side, but at the same time I think Harry might not do that sort of thing at the moment because he's still just a kid too and he has his feelings hurt for being treated like trash.

- Did Snape give him back his broom already? I didn't remember reading that in the last chapter? Was that last scene in a classroom or the hallway? I got the impression it was in McGonagall's classroom and that Snape was somehow just standing in a dark corner though it makes more sense if it was in the hallway.
Loving this story and I'm glad Ian is in Ravenclaw!

I didn't write a scene where Snape gave Harry the broom back, just tried to kind of hint that he did. And as you might have noticed in this chapter, I did say that Snape had in fact given it back to Harry.
Harry talking to McGonagall was in the classroom, Snape was standing in the corridor outside. At least that how I immagined it, though it would be up to each reader personally to picture it as they please. More on that in the next chapter.

- I bet it was Ian or Snape who gave him the cards... Ian probably. Hurry and write more. I want to see more Harry and Snape :) I wish there would be less of the original books and more of your own story here.

- Twice in this CH you said 'curse through'. I just wanted to mention that the term is 'course'. 'It coursed through his veins...'. Otherwise I'm really enjoying the story and your writing.

The blood quill gives Harry an infection. As he slowly deteriorates, he refuses to go to the Infirmary until a certain Potions Master finds him in a corridor.

In the Wizarding World, Father Christmas exists. Of course, not all witches and wizards know this, because only children who would not receive presents otherwise are given a present from the man himself. But when something unexpected comes up Christmas Eve, he’s in the market for two substitute Santas to tag-team his complicated route. Who better to ask than the boy whose name has been on his list almost ten years running, and the man who has forgotten what Christmas once meant for him? Either Father Christmas is crazy to put Harry Potter and Severus Snape on the same team, or he knows something they don’t.
