My English is not very good, so I write fanfiction only in my mother language, although I read also in English and even translate from English to Polish. Maybe one day I'll write something in English, but now it's too early I think.

    YES! The great come back! And I was afraid that this fanfiction won't be continued...

    Wonderful Severus history. I think Sylvia was killed by her father, wasn'e she? Tragic.

    Spanking. Ah, yes, I like it IN THIS FANFICTION. Cause here it is WITH reason. And Harry knows that if he would do something dangerous he would have sore bottom. It's simply like that. Spanking of this kind I can understand. Especially when there is love between parent and child - I here it is. Ovelhelming love which I can easy feel. So... you have my attention.

    I think I've spotted one mistake: "Satisfied, Snape used his WANT to summon an old photo album" - shouldn't be "WAND"?

    It's one of the best short stories I've ever read. I like narration - the first person, the present time - I like content, I like Severus of yours. And Harry, who is really cunning and smart and strangely understanding.
    Yes, of course, I'd love if there would be more chapters, but this way this story is so special, I think. Because the only thing I can do right now is thinking, what Severus will do with his knowledge, how it will end. It's really fascinating.

    That's really good. Short but good. It shows that a road to hell is paved with good intentions (if I correctly remember English version ;-)). Yes, good intentions and good plans are not enough. You need to execute them if this have worked. I'm impressed.

After the Dobby incident at the beginning of the second book, Harry runs away, and Snape kidnaps him. In an old-fashioned house with no comforts and a huge black dog, Harry finds himself at Snape's mercy as Snape plays mind games and makes Harry live through different scenarios. Though Snape seems crazy and psychotic, Harry begins to see reasons behind Snape's sporadic behavior.

There is corporal punishment, but it is different from what I've written before. This is a Mean!Snape story for the most part. If you're looking for a cuddly story, go elsewhere please.

    One of the most fascinating stories I've ever read. I only regret that next chapters are oh so rarely.

    All the time I'm wandering - IS Severus Harry's father or is it really only a kind of sick game? I think he is. I'm impatiently waiting, when Harry will be told.

    Stupid Severus. Although I can't say I don't understand him. It's frightning when someone trust you, it's terrifying when someone depends on you. Yup, I surely can understand him. And I'm waiting for his reaction when - if? - he sees what happend because of his fright.

    I like this story very much, Shadow is sweet, so is Harry sometimes. I'm waiting for more really impatiently. You're right: bad, bad cliffie...

    Author's Response: Well, why stupid ? he was trying to do his best, and so was Dumbledore. Everybody here is doing his best, especially Malfoy ! Hum, ok, stupid Snape, right !but I put the blame on Dumbledore, he has been messing everything a lot lately. Now, there are bad times ahead, an awful lot of bad times... but I trust Severus to do his best ;-)

    Wow. I've almost cried at the end. Sweet, really. Does it mean that Severus' parenthood will be secret no more? Finally.

    For the select few in that room, Severus' paternity will no longer be a secret. But their discretion has to be gaurenteed because Sev is still a spy. Sev could no longer deny Harry's entreaties to tell the Weasleys about their situation.

    What?! Harry forgot to write a note for Severus?! Oh Harry... Severus will be terrified when he will be back and Harry will not be there, I think. I really wonder what Severus will do then.

    OK, this chapter is really interesting. We know more about Severus' family - I've always wondered why Eilleen married Tobias. I thought maybe she was really in love... That happens. But your version is also likely.

    And I like that Harry finally told Severus about Dursley's. It's high time.

    So... I'me waiting for more. As always ;-).

    Author's Response: Thank you!  Yes, Severus will be worried and sometimes worry can come out as anger...ask any parent.  I'm glad you like Severus' background so far.  There may well be more to Eileen and Tobias than Severus understood, too, but that won't come out until much later, probably the sequel.  And yes, it probably was time for Harry to talk about the Dursleys.  Perhaps having the adoption papers and a real dad helped him a bit with that.

    Great! Funny at the begining than serious talk which I was waiting for and another child play. Really great.

    I love this fanfiction and the previous one. Severus is here so... caring. And so unsure. So is Harry. It's really fantastic.
