    Hey!
Wonderful idea, I don't think I've ever read it before. Sad story, at least for Harry... and I think the blame is going to hurt Snape endless as he knows the truth now. Can he live this way? Well, I'm sure that his years as Deatheater will do him good and allow him to somehow live with the blame. But I'd really like to know his thoughts when he next meets Harry. Or Dumbledore.

Thanks a lot for this, I can really see it happening,

    Hey,

I enjoyed this story a lot and hope that you didn't give up on it completely since, as far as I know, it's been years since this has been updated.
I like the way Harry behaves, that you made him very shy and obedient. It seems very logical. And Snape... I have to admit that I kind of want to slap him so he finally really wakes up and decides to care about Harry instead of just taking care of him. You could already see it starting to happen...

So, thanks for writing this and I hope that you didn't give up on it completely.

    Hey!
That was strange. But touching nonetheless. Poor Harry. (We really like him tortured a bit too much sometimes, hm?) Snape's warning about never calling him Dad again was fantastic.

    Thanks a lot for this,

    Hey!
Another perspective, but a beautiful one. I like Dumbledore, although he often is portrayed as a heartless man who acts as if Harry (and in some kind of way, Snape) is a means to an end. Yes, somehow, your Dumbledore does realize that he has to hurt them, that he cannot save and shield them because they are part of the war. But at least, he does try to make it as easy as possibly for Harry. At least he does feel bad for sending Snape into near certain death. And that's all that matters, isn't it? He cares.

Thanks for this, thanks for saving the reputation of the old man,
    keep writing,

    Hey!
Very strange, but sweet in its own way. After reading so many stories, it took me a bit of time to get used to him being a lot younger (no, warnings like Pre-Hogwarts are not noticed by me *g*), but you got it down nicely. Sure, Snape might just be a bit too friendly and not his usual evil self, but he had not time to get angry before even meeting Harry and was completely surprised... and finding a crying little Harry in his cupboard really is an apology for even the evil man of the dungeons to do something friendly.

Thanks a lot for this and keep writing,

(Hints of Child Abuse) First Year, AU in Potion's class. Snape grasps what he otherwise would have missed. Looks may -not- be deceiving, but in a different way than he had even considered...

    Hey!
Wonderful, sad story. Snape's development was believable and his thoughts (at least at the beginning) harsh enough to be completely in character. The same goes for Harry's mortification at having to show his arms and later on when forced to talk about his relatives, who surly have made clear that he is not to say a bad word about them.
Snape's headache was a nice addition.

    Thanks a lot,
    ai

    Hey!
This was beautiful... really wonderful. You got Snape down to be completely in character with him rough handling Harry at the beginning and thinking the worse of the boy-who-lived, until he is undeniable shown different. And even then he tries, as hard as possible, to find Harry at fault. Of course, he doesn't succeed.
Harry was written brilliantly, too. Mortified that someone could find out. Terrified that it is Snape who did. Frightened of what would come of it. And hoping beyond belief that all could be forgotten, that Snape just wouldn't care and he could go back to living as he always has.

Dumbledore was wonderful, too. Caring, angry, appalled that he did never suspect such abuse. But nevertheless calm and in control of the situation. You got him down terrifically.

The whole story was logical, not too fast paced, but not too slow either, wonderfully emotionally written and a terrific read.

Thanks a lot for this and, if you're really thinking about it, I'd very much like a sequel. I'm immediately going to take a look at your profile to find out if you've already started one.

Thanks once again and keep writing and having fun playing with the characters,
    ai

It's a One Shot that takes Harry and Snape's first Occlumency lesson in another direction.

    Hey!
Your Snape is a lot more evil (IC?) than most of us would like him to be. Nevertheless, his reactions are logical and although I hate him to leave Harry alone as every other adult did up to now, it makes sense. Yes, he should stand up for Harry and rescue him, but if even Molly Weasley, who loves Harry like a son, simply accepts that he is barely fed and held prison in his room with bars in front of his window, why should Snape, who hates Harry in his own way, care?
Since most stories go the other way with Snape suddenly starting to care (if only minuscule), it was interesting and something new to read this.

Thanks a lot for a well written story,
    ai

Harry's life is turned around and upside down when a late night visitor from the future tells him the unthinkable. Now he must convince Snape to teach him Occlumency, get along with Draco Malfoy and survive through what Voldemort has planned for him.

    Hey!
I loved it! It was written believable with Snape only allowing Harry back into Occlumency after showing his trust. (And the way was brilliant!) I liked Draco and you got his stuck up personality perfectly, especially the book for always looking your best was fantastic.
So, I'll happily be waiting for the next chapter... As I really want to know if Harry is going to get healthy soon and if he can easily get over what happened to him in a psychological way... I'm curious! By the way, I hope that nobody is going to react overly bad because of the Dark Mark. It's really not Harry's fault and especially his friends should notice that and appreciate that he perhaps does not want to talk about what happened without forcing him to do so. (Nevertheless, it's quite unfair that Harry does now sport the mark and Draco, who always had this as the goal of his life, is still markless. Although, that's thankfully still markless for him of course.)

So thanks a lot for wonderful hours of reading and have equally wonderful hours of writing!

    Author's Response:

Wow! Thank you so much, I really needed a good review to respond to and I think your's is the one, :) I think some of them will be angry, but for Harry's sake, not against him. There will of course be those that don't understand, and them that like to make trouble.
    Thanks again!

    Thanks for writing!
I've not reviewed for quite a long time and my time's a bit low, but I just wanted to say that I really like this story and continue to do so. I hope that Draco and Harry can somehow reconsile (although I'm not sure if that's the right word as they've never been friends before), as I do like Draco and, for all he did, don't like to see him suffering. But then, a bit of a humbling experience should do his nature good.

    Thanks a lot,
    ai

Author's Response: Thank you!   I hope that one day Draco might look back and think it was all for the best.
