- I just discovered this story a couple of days ago. Great story. I don't believe I've read Harry written quite this way before. Loved it. Can't wait for the next chapter.
Harry receives a very special gift on his 16th birthday that leads him to the help he needs...Snape is finding respite from his growing pressures and discovers one in need of help. Despite himself, he finds he CAN grow close to another living being. Only..."everything would've been so much simpler if it'd actually been a cat"...

- OMG Poor Harry and Snape! The effects of the new powers are going to be interesting. I can't wait to see what you do with that part of the plot. Here's my question: Why did Protego do what it did instead of what it 'normally' did? Was it because it was Harry and Snape? :) Can't wait to read the next chapter.

- As always, I loved it. I especially liked that Snape took Harry/Shadow to the Burrow to prove that his friends hadn't died. Can't wait to read more about the manor and see what happens when Harry gets back to Hogwarts.
Author's Response: thank you ! Snape actually know how to take things in hand when there is a problem like this. As for dealing with his own insecurities, though... that's another chapter! he is not so impatient about getting back to Hogwarts and letting Harry go right now!
