Horrible nightmares! But you wrote them well. Poor Harry, having to move into Slytherin but it's not as bad as it could have been! I think the last dream was a vision which means Sirius might still be alive!!! Mind you, something else could happen to him yet...*mutters darkly*

- That was a really good chapter! I definitely think you got a lot of what Harry was thinking and I think it all seemed really realistic. Harry's 'favouritism' observation was very real. This was my favourite line:
Harry shrugged. ‘I’ve been in Gryffindor until about five minutes ago.’
‘And yet curfew was fifteen minutes ago.’ Snape observed drily.
I can imagine the expression on his face as he said it!! Can't wait for the Harry-Malfoy showdown (and Snape's reaction!!) and I really can't wait for the next chapter because it was a cliffie *sobs* and I really want to see what Harry says!

Yes -it'll be interesting to have Snape trying to deal appropiately with Harry & Malfoy. No ones gonna like the outcome...

- This was such a great chapter, Snape handled it really well! The Connor plotline is getting very interesting, can't wait for the Draco/Harry spat!

Yeah Snape's trying really hard to not fly off the handle but it doesn't come easily to him!
There should be a bit of an insight into what makes Connor tick in the next chapter or two...

- I DEFINITELY would never do it, but it is a Snape-y thing to do. Loved Snape comforting Harry after his nightmare; he was nice but without getting OOC.

Thanks! Yeah I get slightly worried writing the bits like that (comforting Harry) in case it does come across as too soft so I'm glad it didn't seem that way to you...
Hmm yeah, I think being prepared to kill the mice whilst remaining so detached would be impossible for most people but with Snape's past he has been desensitised. He'd never have made it as a deatheater & spy otherwise...

- Aww, I felt so sorry for Draco. I hope there will be a reconciliation between him and Snape soon, he must feel all abandoned. Harry was so sweet, his sort-of-apology was so cleverely done, he was always very impulsive in canon. Great chapter!

Yeah Draco is a nasty character but he has an upbringing and been through certain harrowing experiences which all contribute to the way he is. I was actually feeling pretty sympathetic to him as I wrote this chapter, I mean the kid's pretty confused and definately feels rejected. We'll have to see how things pan out between him and Snape!

The fight made my mouth drop open, very well written, I cringed in sympathy pain when they went into that bookcase!

lol yes poor Draco although he does deserve some comeuppance after all the things he's been saying! And I wanted him to come off worse than Harry for once despite the odds being against it in the Slytherin common room...

- This story is so absorbing, I think it's because it's so well written and flows so well. I'm really enjoying it! I liked Harry's refusual to apologise, I don't think I would either. But I like how he does it impulsively in the next chapter too.
Author's Response: Thank you! Yes I wasn't planning on having his apologise at all at first but then it seemed like something he might do on the spur of the moment,
