- I'm not sure why anyone would leave at this point. This chapter was quite . . maybe wonderful isn't the right word--for it certainly isn't very happy but an excellent addition to the story and there is hope now. even with the surge of death eaters after them still. Let's be honest--that's not new to our Harry at all--regular day really.
Looking forward to "what comes next!"

I re-read the next chapter, and I must admit that it is really quite depressing. But yes, you can't expect Harry to come out of this pink and shinny, can you ? the awakening will be hard... but the worst it past now, at least ! ...well, I think so ;-)

- THANK YOU for not killing of Remus. I just HATE it when people do that (including JKR-I still haven't quite forgiven the total blood bath at the end of the last book.)

- I don't know about "getting boring"! All stories have their ebb and flow, periods of intensity and calm. I liked it. Left me with a quiet smile--all good. Good interaction and excellent solution to the "Ron and Hermionie" problem.

- OK, while I agree with a lot of what Severus said, I really wonder how he could be annoyed with Harry about not returning. Didn't he make Harry promise to remaina CAT and, under no circumstance was he to change back? Can Cats activate the Floo? Ron and Hermioine couldn't as they were not in on the "secret".

- "He Refused?" HE REFUSED?!? And he lead Harry to believe otherwise? Oh this is so not good. Harry is going to either "flip" or he's going to be crushed. This Loki had better NOT be Reums or I might need to find use for a good wolf skin rug.

Yes, he refused, I can tell you, I was there! The man said 'no' outright. Just like this. No matter what. And trust me, that was NOT outof confidence in Severus!
But no, I can already tell you that Loki is not Remus, though that was a nice guess ;-)
Oh, by the way, I don't like Remus as a character. It probably will show....

- OH, Can we kill Albus NOW for his little stunt? I know he ment well, but so many of his plans "for the good of. . . " just turn out rotten. He's not enough of a Slytherin to see all the possible NEGATIVE consequences--he's just to positive in his outlook. And then it comes back to bite them all.
More soon please--don't leave me hanging here! (that was old Voldy in Harry's little "flash" and Harry really was with Sev in his "dream" wasn't he?)

- That was a powerful chapter. And you were right, Albus really did catch it for that stupid mistake. I'm guessing sev would have seen true regret from, at least, Albus if he had looked back as well as two very distraut witches at his abrupt departure.

- What an interesting twist. One I never would have expectied--the Dark Mark changed to Harry from old Snake Face. I think that I'm going to causiously agree with Albus that, overall, this is a good thing. Harry would not abuse his "power" with anyone, let alone Sev. And it could be useful--a built in "Help Me" to call Sev to him if he was in trouble--or to get Sev out of trouble as a "beacon" to get home.
