I think I like this vampire--how direct of an ancestor is he? a "grandfather" or "uncle" to our boys? I suppose we will find out when you are ready to tell us. I'm looking forward to the "family reunion". I'm guessing yon vampire will want to stay hidden, but will somehow--probably either due to protecting the boys or Harry's cat like curriosity--be found out. Probably scare the wits out of the boys as well--at first. Unless Sev has already met his ancestor?

Yes, Phil's exact relationship to Sev and Harry and by extension Draco will be revealed later in the story. He will stay hidden for the most part, though the boys will eventually find out about him and yes, that first meeting will be touchy. No, Sev does not know about him.

I've been on vacation from my computer most of the summer and am just now playing catch up on my ff reading. Your summer chapters have been a truely entertaining read. I love Harry/Katie and Draco/Hermionie. Smidge and Phil can be quite vicious when they set their minds to it, can't they?
Now for the 3 tasks. . . are you going to follow a "cannon-like" Ron here or let him be more human and belive Harry for a change?

- Well, that was probably the creepiest version of Moody's first class that I've read. Phils POV certainly added depth to the scene.
I loved the pillow fight! It's good to see Harry being a Kid for a bit.

It was rather scary wasn't it? But then, I intended it to be. Because the vampire would notice things the students missed about the phiny Moody.
