Ok *I'm* begging for more...but as a stand alon... It's Brilliant! Author's Response: Lol, glad you liked it so much! I'm afraid that if I write another, I'll never get any of my other stories finished! So, it is unlikely to happen, but thank you for reviewing! When 10-year-old Harry goes on an early morning shopping trip for Severus’s birthday present, he discovers a girl half-frozen in the snow in Diagon Alley. Little does he know that his encounter with the snow girl will change his family forever, for she harbors a secret past and a singular gift that could bring an enemy down upon them all unknowing. Tale partially based on “The Little Match Girl” by Hans Christian Anderson.

Author's Response: Thanks so much! Glad you're enjoying it.
Author's Response: Thanks and I've just posted another chapter!
There is no telling how Draco will react. Any normal child would have mixed feelings, He was raised a certain way, it may take him a moment to overcome the teachings of his father. In any case I believe that he will come to love his sister... Author's Response: You're right, and prejudice is alive unfortunately in today's society, i see examples of it almost every day in some form or other, which sort of prompted me to write this. Draco is very confused at the moment, but given time he will come to love Holly.
Heck yea I wanna see Draco meet his sister! Author's Response: Good, you'll be seeing that soon. After Narcissa returns to the manor to take her son away.
I really like the relationship between Harry and Holly! He takes his big brother role seriously...God help the poor sap that tries to date Holly. ;D Author's Response: He's going to, trust me! yeah, whoever that is might as well start running now, because between harry, Severus and Draco, the kid is going to be lucky to put a foot in the door and say hi before being chewed up and spit out.
*Mr* Malfoy is Lucky Narcissa didn't leave his ass some kind of bomb... Can't wait for the next chapter! Author's Response: Ain't that the truth! If she hadn't been so worried about getting Draco out of there, she just might have done that.
Well now...What is Draco to do? Kinda confusing for him. HE can call his sister what he wants...others can't...typical Draco. Plus he'll work it out in the end. You've done a WONDERFUL job with this...not only will Draco be able to accept Hermione in the future, but he wasn't raised with the blood feud so he can even accept the Weasleys...goodness knows I shudder to think of Draco and the Twins hitting it off...He wouldn't be nasty but I still see those prankster genes kicking in... I think the teachers would jump off of a cliff with all of THOSE kids getting along... My brain goes crazy with it...Hermione and Holly....Lord Help the boys...I think in regarding the girls brain power ALONE the boys would be out classed..... Argus...got his moment...as it always should have been. When my family did our own RPG...Argus was the man cause he knew all of the secrets... Author's Response: Uh, probably, LOL! Yes, Draco still has some issues to resolve, and actually his attitude towards his sister is typical of older brothers. My nephew used to tease his younger siblings and boss them around something awful, but heaven help anyone else outside of the family that tried anything with HIS siblings. They were dead meat. When I asked him why it was that he could do whatever he wanted to his brother and sister, he just said, "I'm family, and that's how it is." Oh God, could you imagine, Draco and Fred and George together? The staff would have a collective nervous breakdown. Yes, the girls would be genuiuses and probably plan out some of the boys pranks, unwittingly, of course. Yes, he did indeed, for fair is fair, and he is the man, all right.
The punishment fits the crime. You've done a really good job leveling the playing field on the "Houses" at Hogwarts. Me and the kids have always picked them apart and looked beyond the obvious. When the 7 of us RPG'ed we sorted in a most interesting way, 3 Gryf 1 Rav 1 Sly 2 Huf Yea I sorted into Huf...I'm an ass, and liked the hidden quality's of the house. You could be yourself with backup. I think it was the term "All the rest..." that we liked the most. She did a comic strip inspired by "There she is" a youtube animation video. Based on her character (Quigley) having a crush on Sev...LOL Poor guy...Her character had Snape Dolls,Posters all on a shrine... And God help ANYONE who touched it... I'll have to upload the strip on Deviant art one day but it was dead cute... Throckmorton had BETTER HOPE he doesn't get caught! I don't think the results would be very pretty. Author's Response: Thanks. I always felt Slytherin got the short end of the stick, since it was the House that Voldy came from and had a bad rep for that, plus they were the ambitious House, which is a quality that some people look down on, and had a snake for their symbol, which can sometimes be seen as being an "evil" animal. And I think a lot of people overlooked the fact that Peter pettigrew--a Death Eater--was in gryffindor--so they're not all perfect. I suppose it was assumed that because the Golden trio was in Gryffindor, it was the "good" House, but the Marauders were horrid bullies and I'd like to know how the heck they changed from tormenting students to suddenly being defenders of the weak. It always got me that it was never explained, because in my experience, kids who bully grow up to be bullies unless something happens to make them totally have an attitude adjustment. I think it would have been better if JKR had made Harry have friends from ALL the Houses, so then you could see that there was good and bad in each House. As for Throckie, well he's going down. Be assured of that one, because no one escapes Snape! Working on the next chapter now!
That's a no brainer...Lucius Fantastic work on that chappie! Author's Response: Right and what about Throckmorton? He wa sin on it too. Thanks for that one and hope you enjoy the rest of this! |
