About me:

On May 28th of 2002, after a lot of deliberation and thought, I became Ponytail Goddess on fanfiction.net.  Looking back, I can't help but wonder why I chose such a silly name.  Clearly, I never thought I'd grow out of my ponytail phase during my freshmen year of high school.  Oh, how things have changed...

Anyway, I guess I could tell you a few less than interesting facts about myself, such as the fact that I am a music education major or that I live in Illinois, which is known for it's unpredictable weather.  However, that's not too terribly interesting, so I will bore you no longer.

I am here to write a few good fics and my main focus as an author is creativity.  I strive to write intricate fics with highly detailed plots that have not been seen before.  I like tricking people into believing one thing when they should believe another.  I also believe that a story can be satisfying with a less than happy ending.  Not everything in life ends happily, so why should all fics end happily?  Variety is the spice of life, so I'm going to flavor my fics in different ways to please you.

    Great story, but I feel like it's a bit rushed. Normally I don't leave so many critiques, but I really think that with some plot changes, this story could be really good. We didn't really get to see Harry come to terms with his new life, which was what I was really hoping for.

    I do like how Harry sees visions of his previous life and is disturbed by them. Very creative!

    That was cute, though I'm a bit surprised Ginny downed the potion without knowing what it was. If you ever choose to do scenes again, I'd love to see when Severus first sees Harry as a baby or when he takes Harry from Dumbledore after Lily and James are killed. Great work!

    OMG, he doesn't know where he's going? That's insane! Why is Dumbledore so against this? Why won't he even hear Severus out when it comes to the well-being of Harry? I am very annoyed with him right now.

    I am really enjoying your story. The writing is very good and descriptive, the emotions are sharp, and the plot is fast-paced, but not so fast that we can't appreciate the little moments between Sev and Harry. This is so good!

    Oh no! I hope they can still be safe at the farmhouse! It must be hard on Harry to be constantly toted around to new homes. What is Dumbledore playing at; why isn't he trying to find them and why did he give Severus the Slytherin job? Oh, I love the mystery of this fic! It's so good!

    I love that you've made little Harry really powerful. It makes me think that maybe if Dumbledore did capture him, he'd be able to hold his own because he'd be upset about leaving Daddy. Great chapter--I loved the duel between Snape and Lucius.
