About me:

On May 28th of 2002, after a lot of deliberation and thought, I became Ponytail Goddess on fanfiction.net.  Looking back, I can't help but wonder why I chose such a silly name.  Clearly, I never thought I'd grow out of my ponytail phase during my freshmen year of high school.  Oh, how things have changed...

Anyway, I guess I could tell you a few less than interesting facts about myself, such as the fact that I am a music education major or that I live in Illinois, which is known for it's unpredictable weather.  However, that's not too terribly interesting, so I will bore you no longer.

I am here to write a few good fics and my main focus as an author is creativity.  I strive to write intricate fics with highly detailed plots that have not been seen before.  I like tricking people into believing one thing when they should believe another.  I also believe that a story can be satisfying with a less than happy ending.  Not everything in life ends happily, so why should all fics end happily?  Variety is the spice of life, so I'm going to flavor my fics in different ways to please you.

    Very beautifully done. You have no idea how excited I was to see this updated. My favorite part was at the beginning of the chapter when Snape and Harry were speaking so openly while in the tree. The emotions were deep there and I felt so sad that Severus wanted to forget everything. I'm glad he won't. I hope he has a chance to get to know this other Harry.

    But...who will Harry save with the lace? His dad or his mum? I have a feeling he will only be able to cure one; what will he choose?

    Please update soon! I can't wait to read the end!

    Oh goodness, that is horrible. Poor Harry--the memories are only going to get worse. All in all, this has been pretty good so far, though you do have a few minor typos here and there that could use fixing. I'm loving the story!

    Wow, I really liked the memory sequence here, though I think Harry has just inadvertently given fodder to the Slytherins. Maybe some will be kind enough not to use it against him though, especially after seeing Harry being kind to the firstie.

    You know, your writing is really good, but you almost always misspell the word Slytherin, which makes me wonder if your computer is changing it on accident. In spite of this, I really like this story so far (the more I think about it, I might have read it before, but I'm not 100% sure yet).
