- Hmm...last couple paragraphs seem a little sudden... I dunno if Harry would automatically hug Snape - I'd have Snape be the "active" party, and Harry more passive.
As Harry enters his sixth year at Hogwarts, Voldemort's lengthening shadow stretches across the wizarding world and Harry is tormented by the knowledge that he alone can end this reign of terror. Worse, his mysterious mental link to Voldemort is stronger than ever and threatens to overwhelm him. Only Snape can teach him to control the nightmarish visions, but can Harry and Snape learn to trust one another, or will an old grudge that refuses to die destroy the wizarding world's sole hope of defeating the Dark Lord?

- This story is incredible!! One of the best Snape-teaching-Harry fics I've ever read, and by FAR the coolest portrayal of Harry learning occlumency and legilimancy. And I love your OC, Ryan! I partially figured out his game when he convinced Harry in such a "subtle" (I'm sure he was capable of more subtlety, but Harry isn't!) way to write to the ministry. I was so happy to figure that much out 'cause you'd kept me deliciously in the dark until then. Awesome! On to the sequel!! I so hope you finished it...I haven't looked yet. :)

- Yey I like this chapter!! I loved the play between Draco and Harry. They seemed so wonderfully brotherly. Snape's plea to wait 'till Christmas was also really well done - very moving. :0)
