Desperate to escape his guilt and nightmares after the third task, Harry transforms into a hawk by accident and ends up breaking both wings and suffering partial memory loss.     Author's Response: Yes, funny how that happens.  Well, hawks are kind of self-centered and so are teenagers sometimes, and right now Harry's both, so . . .he won't notice just how glad Sev is at his return until much later.

    Fantastic! Your character portrayals are very nice. I like how Sev is (for him) kind to Sybill.

    Author's Response: Thanks.  Yes, though Sybill can be a bit bonkers, Severus would never be deliberately rude or cruel to her and he hates how Umbridge treats people!  He knows how to behave with decorum like a gentleman.

    Oh poor Freedom!! He's so confused!! And poor Snape. It's gonna be quite a shock.

    I really liked how you portrayed Snape's hurt and Freedom's confusion. It makes it really clear how much the two of them have changed.

    Definitely! And there are more rocky waters ahead for them after this new chapter. 

    They have changed a lot, haven't they? And they'll change some more before this is all over.

    Very nice!! I especially liked the bit where Severus disciplines Freedom, and Freedom (sort of) accepts it. It's time Harry learned to control his impulsiveness, especially considering that's what got him in this fix in the first place.

    Author's Response: It is and Severus knows it (even if he doesn't know it's Harry) and now Harry knows it too! He might not enjoy Sev's discipline but even he has to admit that it was fair and deserved.  And he will try and learn from it.

    Wonderful chappie!!! I like!! I especially like Harry's declaration that anyone wants to hurt Severus has to go through him. Hopefully Severus will remember that and realize that Harry wasn't just pretending to care for him. Happy Birthday!!!

    Loving it! That evil HAG!! GRRRRRR!!! I really love the moment in class when Harry realizes Snape is ignoring him. Poor Harry.

    That was one of the ones where I thought AWWW as I was writing it, because I felt so bad for the kid!
