    I think this is off to a good start. I really like "Snape's Second Chance" because of the fresh perspective you give things, and this story also looks like it has a lot of potential.

Snape is left dying in the Shrieking Shack after giving Harry his memories convinced that Harry is going to his death. When Snape dies, he is given a chance to send his soul backwards in time seven years to give Harry a chance for a better (and hopefully longer) life. Will switch back and fourth between being Snape centered and Harry centered.

    I don't see why people should bother you about the changes you're making. That's what makes it YOUR story and not JKR's, for goodness' sake. Can you say 'fanfic', anyone? duh.

    You just keep writing and don't take any flak from anyone's misguided ideas that canon is the only way for this to go. SS went back to CHANGE the past, not relive it.

    I really like where you have gone with this so far. I haven't read the original version, so I am going to just have this version to comment upon. sounds like SS has learned some important lessons about Harry and how to be a better man this time around.

    Author's Response: The changes I'm making are mostly correcting grammer, spelling, and continuiting errors with in the "Snape's Second Chance" universe.

    This was revised??? I honestly finished slogging through this chapter because I like your story and am tracking it, but the spelling/word choice errors and the word order/grammar errors were so distracting I got no enjoyment out of this chapter, I'm afraid to say.
