Bats are renowned as the only mammals capable of maintaining true and sustained flight, and are highly skilled fliers due to their unique abilities. It would only make sense then for Hogwarts' own dungeon bat to have these same skills. Even so, Harry still didn't understand how he had come to be in this situation, challenging one Professor Snape on the Quidditch pitch. Oneshot

- Wow. The drama! This story is so awesome! Great conversation here. I love Snape and Harry getting to know each other better - the information about Snape is inspired! I'm so happy and surprised at learning all those things about him, but sad over how all of his family died. Maybe this adoption thing will be as good for him as it is for Harry. Thank you so much for all the chapters! I am definitely loving this story.

- Aww, yay! Hermione! So will Harry be offered a place to stay with Hermione's parents? That could be okay, except the fact that Hermione's parents are Muggles and can't protect the girls with magic should the need arise. I can't see Snape agreeing to it, not only for Harry's safety but also because he wants her, actually wants her. I think Harry will see it and agree, but maybe not after he catches her lying and out of bed, and meeting with Dumbledore. I wonder if Snape knows Dumbledore wants to take Harry away from him. Fantastic chapter, I can't wait to read the rest!
