Slytherin!
Desperate to escape his guilt and nightmares after the third task, Harry transforms into a hawk by accident and ends up breaking both wings and suffering partial memory loss. He is found by Snape, and while the professor nurses him back to health discovers the truth about Severus and who are really his friends and enemies at Hogwarts.

- what about markings? McGonagall has markings from her glasses, and he would have his scar somehow, right?
Author's Response: yes, that's true, because a cat usually has markings about her eyes and they can look like spectacles. But I've never seen a hawk with a lightning bolt on its head. Too distinctive markings would make an Animagus too easy to identify and to me that defeats the purpse of a form. An Animagus should be able to blend into the natural world and become invisible so to speak. That's the great advantage of a shape shifter, after all. They make great spies.
Written for the Teacher Attack! challenge by Dhruva. After Umbridge snaps and takes her newfound authority too far, Snape unexpectedly steps in on Harry's behalf. WARNING: Contains corporal punishment, i.e. caning, of a teenager.

- Great, except for one thing....Electronics don't work in Hogwarts. Haven't you ever read Hogwarts, A History? (lol) Thus the telly wouldn't work....And why would snape even have a telly?

Snape's father was a muggle, and Spinner's end is in a Muggle neighbourhood, and perhaps the telly is operating with a little aid of magic and not by electronrics soley.
Besides this is AU, anything is possible in the world of fanfiction! That's why it's called fanfiction, because it doesn't have to follow Canon exactly. i can make my own rules!!
