I've never read a fic featuring the founders before. I love this story! It's brilliant!

    Author's Response: Thank you!

I stomp my foot. I whine. I say it's brilliant. I say you have to make it longer. Because I say so.

    Author's Response:

Someone asked me if they could adopt it so they could continue it, and i said yes. Once she gets it going, i'll send you a link to it :)
Thanks so much for the review! It makes me a little sad that I gave my story away to someone who could do it justice since i only wanted for this to be a one shot, but I think i'm doing the right thing. I hope.

I'm glad James had the nerve to stand up to Bellatrix. Snape was awful to him, though, and then... civil. Hmm. They're in it together, aren't they? Have to get along somehow. Wonderfully done piece. And very dark: makes me want to hide under a blanket and never come out.

    Author's Response:

Thanks, I’m glad you liked, even if it did send you into the dark pits of fanfiction misery.  My James has a real strain of “I just got my tuchus handed to me, I need to go back for more!” running through his demented little head, while Snape is learning just how profound is power over his old enemy is.  Man, I like to mess with them too much for it to be healthy.

Title: Chapter 1: The Exorcism of Tom Riddle 30 May 2009
Reviewer: Ramelia (Signed)
Tom/Voldemort, possessed, was a nice way to show that he wasn't evil from the beginning. I don't believe sadomasochists just spring into existence, though the whole exorcism thing creeps me out a bit. It would've been great if Vold... no, Tom had stayed alive. Or did he? I'm a bit confuzzled.

Author's Response: Tom is still alive. One of these days, I will get around to writing a sequel to this, but I am a bit swamped by real life and what stories I am already working on. I agree with you about SMs. Ironically, it was during a Requim Mass at my church that this idea came to me, and I wrote it at work the next day. Thanks for reviewing, Ramelia.

PART OF 'Life as Dictated by a Talking Hat'. Reposted as a one-shot because people kept reading the Prologue, presumably deciding it stank, and not going on to read the actual story. (Which I think is lots better). I still didn't want to delete it, though - it's kind of fun in its own right. :-) Any ideas on how to improve would be much appreciated.

I've been meaning to read this story for a very, very long time. My own stories got in the way but now I'm in a full reading mode and the summary's got me really intrigued.
Loved the ignorant Flitwick! And the interjections of Snape and McGonagall's thoughts were hilarious. Very promising.

Author's Response: Glad you liked, and hope you enjoyed the rest of the story as much. (And are still reading it! I know it's hard w/ long fics.) Thanks for the review, and sorry I took SOOO LOOOONG to respond!!

Very nice beginning! I'm mostly rather wary about stories that are set outside the canon settings, and even less inclined to read said stories if there's original characters in them. But this one's truly caught my attention and I'm enjoying it immensely (not the awful things Harry and Draco have been through, of course)!

Author's Response: I'm glad you gave it a try! Thanks for the review!

Title: Chapter 4: Chapter 4 – How to go on 07 Jul 2009
Reviewer: Ramelia (Signed)
Ah, very nice idea to bring horses in. I think I read recently an article about people becoming a lot calmer and cheerful after riding a horse or simply being in its presence. I believe most pets have that effect.

Author's Response: Thank you for your review!

Just as I submitted my review for this chapter on ff.net, I found out that you've finally updated the story here, too.

This was a lovely chapter. Glad that Draco found the courage to overcome his fears, to some degree at least. Little changes can spark bigger things, so I hope that Draco's on the right path to live to the fullest again. And Harry... he's pretty messed up, what with all the revenge, huh? And, yeah, physical exercise, even if it is just wood-chopping, can be a great release for any kind of frustration. Very realistic, that.

Author's Response: Thanks for posting a review here as well. Yes, Harry is very messed up. You will find out more soon.

Title: Chapter 7: Chapter 7 - I Tried 21 Jul 2009
Reviewer: Ramelia (Signed)
    Another nice chapter!

The gross imagery of the suffering, Harry and Draco's, may set back from the story, since [I'm] keen to avoid any such descriptions altogether.
Draco's letter was a bit out of place - men, boys included, do not relate their 'feelings' in such terms. If they're cold, they would tell you in round-about terms that "you should buy a winter-coat, it's freezing" and the like. Otherwise, it's a hundred percent true. Very disturbing, actually, and if it weren't for [my] belief in the fact that you''ll stay true to the [happy] ending of your other stories, I wouldn't probably be reading this.

However, your thorough understanding of the victims of violence, of any kind, is what makes this story full of heart-breaking moments, yet full of hope and the promise of recuperation.

    Nine frogs! Thank you!

    Author's Response:

You may be right that boys normally aren't that open to speak about their emotions, but Draco had several therapy sessions after the events in the dungeons (it was mentioned in one of this first chapters). Even boys learn while therapy that it is important to open up to a few special persons. :)

I'm glad you still like the story. Thank you for your review!
