- I am glad DD was ok in your story (after the hand thing). I liked how you portrayed his character generally as clever, powerful, kind but not all-seeing or perfect. Some of these stories make DD seem as though he just plots and doesn't care about people at all but I think your version is good.

I am so glad you enjoy my DD. I am like you. I cannot read stories that openly bash DD. I loathe them. This is exactly how I see him. Yes, he can be manipulative, but ultimately, in canon, he did everything that he could to try to ensure that Harry defeated Voldemort and lived to tell the tale. Harry would have ended up meeting Volde in battle regardless of DD, and without his having led Harry where he did, HArry would have died.
I believe that DD cared very much for Harry. it was said often enough in canon. It amazes me how people can twist things to fit there own views. Some people look up to Voldemort as a good guy and DD as the villain. amazing!

- I loved the whole banishing Harry saga... felt v sorry for Harry but I thought it developed really nicely as it led up to Snape admitting he felt bad (and how he kept mucking up his potion)

The other bit i wanted to review but couldn't find as I was scanning through quickly was when Harry has a go at Snape for brewing a poison.
I thought the way you wrote that bit was very skillful. It made me feel it from both sides... for Harry having to come to terms with the fact that Snape spying role entails some horrible actions. As for Snape -well what Harry said was horrible so I could see why he was furious...
Oh and I really liked the bit when DD told Snape Harry had inherited his temper lol
Anyway enough wittering from me.

I am so pleased that you liked ASD enough that you decided to check out my other work. I hope you enjoy it as much. I will tell you though, that I have stopped posting Muggle on this site because there was very little interest in it. The last batch of chapters were uploaded en masse by one of the administratiors that I know here, but I haven't bothered with anymore as the readership is virtually non existant.
You can keep up to date over at fanfic.net; I still post over there. I am working on chapter 32 now. I am sorry if you are not signed up over there, but anon reviewers can review there, I just cannot reply to them. It's simple enough to sign up over there though. Perhaps you already are.
