Oooh, I don't even know what to think. Harry's plans never go as well for him as he wishes or thinks they will. Something will go wrong. I wonder though if Sirius really is alive... should be interesting to find out! Keep up the awesome work! Author's Response: Thank you! Yes I know, long gaps aren't the best thing in the world for any fic. No, Harry's not got the best of luck, has he? We'll have to wait and see about Sirius...
Also, poor boy and that darn crow! But at least that's more figured out! ;-) Nice work! Author's Response: Yeah and there was no way that Snape was gonna let him just stride past without an explaination lol At least he's got the spare room as an option:) I'm glad you liked it and thanks loads for reviewing. The next chapter is now up.
I can't wait to see what'll happen next! :D Author's Response: Thanks! Yeah he wanted to get Connor out of trouble but didn't really have much of a plan of how to do that, did he?
New chapter now up :) Sorry about the wait. Dudley and Harry flee Vernon - to Severus. A different Tom Riddle, Petunia is good. Lucius and Draco are helpful. Albus is a bit misguided. The twins are only a year older than Harry, so I can make them non-Gryffindor.

I really LIKE it so far! I do think the two boys are acting a little old for their age, but other than that, it's enjoyable. I'm very eager to see how your portrayal of Snape will be. :D
I hate Vernon. But it's so refreshing to see a more caring Petunia though. Good job!
When Lily and James' will is discovered in the ruins of Godric's Hollow, what secrets will be revealed? Will two sworn enemies be able to lay aside their differences for the sake of a boy who desperately wants a family?

Author's Response: LOL! Harry will do that to you! Nerves of steel that boy. Thanks for reviewing. After a series of tests to discover why Harry's magic has become erratic, a secret is revealed, one hidden for over fifteen years. But not all secrets disappear without consequence, leaving Severus to learn that potions cannot heal everything.

Anyhow, good job and I'll keep reading. :D Author's Response: I touched on it, but haven't gone into detail yet. Thanks for reminding me to include that soon. The details aren't that important to the storyline, but I'll be sure to address it. Thanks for reviewing, and I hope you enjoy the rest.
That was a really cool thing, coming up with how to predict a wizard's magical power. I could soooo relate to Harry when he was searching for his glasses, and panicking. I've been wearing glasses since I was 5 and feel lost without 'em. When I "misplace" them in the morning if I am staying over someplace new, I always freak out in that quick moment before I locate 'em. ;-) Oh, and I just wanted to cry when Harry's wand didn't work for him towards the end there. Seriously. That was heartbreaking. Great job! Author's Response: Thanks for the lengthy review. I'm glad you can relate to Harry. I don't wear glasses myself, but I can imagine how freaked out I'd be if I couldn't see when I woke up in the morning. I was hoping that Harry's wand not working for him would be heartbreaking to you guys, the readers.
I loved this part here: --- "Severus," McGonagall chided. "What if I didn't have his test graded yet?" "I saw it sitting on your desk," Severus answered. --- That made me laugh out loud. ;-) And I am not sure why, but for some reason I like the idea of Snape knowing how and being the one to take Harry's blood. But... Leukemia? Oh. Crud. Next chapter... Author's Response: I love that you're loving certain parts and letting me know what they are. It helps me to know what I'm doing right or if you think that the same parts are cool that I do. I like Snape knowing how to take blood, too. He's super intelligent, and I can see him as a Renaissance man of sorts, interested in many subjects and because of his intellect pursuing them. I'm also glad you got to laugh before you go to the end. It might be the last time for a few chapters. |
