Hi there! I'm Ivy and I'm nineteen with an over active imagination. I'm a pretty huge nerd and I like it that way. I'm pretty much obsessed with Alan Rickman and am out to see every movie he's ever been in. Naturally, I drool every time I see him in Harry Potter evertime he shows up on the screen.

    "Lucius scoffed into the brandy that he was now swirling in the glass. "What kind of person do you think I am, Severus?" He sighed. "I may be hard and somewhat...cruel at times, I suppose, but I would not wish to harm my son, or yours for that matter. There are limits to everything.""- okay, Lucius is a big JERK! He even admits to it!...and yet I still love him in this XD There's just something about him...

    Poor Ophelia! Lucius wasn't to subtle there, was he? But I wonder why Ophelia got so offended with Narcissa? And Poor Draco and Harry! They just wanted to play! They were so cute in this! But Opheila better get over her fit or she's gunna be in BIG trouble!

    This, in an odd way, made me really happy! Another wonderful chappie Raven! ^-^

    Author's Response: Hi, Ivy!  When I profess that I am fascinated by the Malfoys, I do include their bad qualities too.  (But, let's be serious...What a fun trio to write!  I LOVE writing the three of them!)  No, Lucius wasn't very subtle was he, but when the man wants to wound with words, he manages to pick something nice and sharp to do the job.  Next chapter will hopefully explain why Ophelia got so offended.  And yes, if she doesn't get over it...she will be in big trouble...Death!  Thanks to that Unbreakable Vow, eh?  Glad you thought Draco and Harry were cute, and yes all they wanted to do was play (wouldn't you if you only had other adults or only Crabbe and Goyle's kids?  Yikes!)  Hopefully, I'll write more in the next few days, but no promises.  Time to catch up with yours!     "She saw him try to muster up an encouraging smile but it came out as a look of pain."- Aww! He's adorably made of fail!! :( Poor guy! I felt so bad through out this whole chapter. Sev's not a coward! He's not!! No one messes with my Snape!!...I mean, Rowling's Snape...Raven's Snape? Screw it, no one mess with Snape! (there's the right one)

    And I totally love the ending. I can just see Lucius all like "WFT?!?" Ha! I crack myself up. OH! And I TOTALLY imagined Alan Rickman's voice to Snape's lines throughout the chapter and it was TOTALLY the more amazing thing ever! ;3 Alan rocks!

    So, you wanted spelling mistakes, I found a few:"She noticed that Severus was sitting stiffly in the overly maroon and gold room, and she leaned hr head" you forgot the "e" in "her" (like my "o" in "to" ^-^ "Lemon. I ‘m not that picky."- get that nasty extra space outta there! And he's SUCH a little Dumbles, with his lemons! *rolls eyes*"and settled them at his neck with heer fingers clasped at his nape..."- take out an "e" in "heer" please!

    Well, that's all I came up with...so again, wonderful chappie and I can't wait for more! Poor Sev...

    Author's Response: Thanks for pointing out some of my mistakes.  It helps!  No, Severus isn't a coward, but when he does certain things people see it as cowardice.  And I really, really wanted to try to show that James thinks of him as a coward, just because in canon Snape gets livid when Harry calls him that, too.  Glad you liked Lucius at the end.  Yeah, imagine that surprise...So, you hear Alan Rickman's voice in my dialogue?  YES!  That makes me so excited!  And I agree, he does rock!  Yeah, and with the lemon...Had to make James an almost Dumbledore clone!  I couldn't resist.  And I just don't picture James as one to simply sit there sipping tea to calm himself down.  He'd probably go flying or something, but if he had to drink tea, I am of the opinion that his tastes would not be so particular...Hence, the Dumbledore Lemon!  Thanks for reading and for the review!  More is coming soon... ~ RK

    ""Wear it." the little boy insisted.-
    "Now? It's a little warm right now for it, Tevin." Severus glanced at the roaring fire nearby.-"Wear it!" he shrieked."

    "Big and scary and hairy!"

    HAHAHAHA!!!Oh my Raven! You just saved my day!! Oh! I've had such a terrible day, but when I read this, those line in particular, they just made me laugh!

    I'm sorry my review's shamefully late, but I've had a time these past few weeks! But this really did brighten a terrible day! This was super cute! I love the Christmas presents! XD Now little Tevin's got a wand and a pen and a pet- OH the trouble he'll get into! XD How's Sev EVER going to survive? XD

    But Remus gave Severus Lily's wand? UBER CUTE!! I literally went "AWWWWW!!!" out loud. (good thing room mate went out of the room! ;D )And Tevin was so cute through out that scene! :D He's just such a spunky little guy!

    Oh, I do hope Draco and Tevin will be good friends. They seem to really like each other now, but I hope that will continue. And the descriptions of the wands was interesting. Hmmm...you got me thinking. Will Draco be a seer kinda like his mommy? Hmm... You'll have to keep writing so I find out! ;D

    Author's Response: I'm sorry you had a bad day, Ivy-Green, but on the other side, I'm glad I could improve it with my story for you.  Yes, Tevin is armed and dangerous with a wand, pen/pencil, pet AND a snitch!  Poor Severus.  He'll certainly have his hands full now, along with the teaching and potion-making on top of it.  Yes, Remus is the king of sentimentality here.  Yes, Tevin and Draco do like each other a lot, and their bond will be a major factor of importance in the sequel story to this, eventually.  And we'll see about what those wand meanings indicate, won't we?  I'm writing as fast as possible with trying to still catch up on coursework, and attending classes...which I should go do now!  Thanks for reading, and reviewing again.  And don't worry about it being "shamefully late."  I'd keep writing anyways!  ~ RK

    OMG! That was so cute! When I first started reading, I was like, "how does a baby Draco know all these spells?" But now they're five and they're so cute!! XD And they play fight with wands and act it out! I love when little kids do that! They're always so adorable! But then Draco thought it would be a good idea to fly mommy's broom...that's NEVER a good idea Draco! He's such a little brat but I love him anyway! XD And poor little Tevin.

    I LOVED Lucius here. He's all growlly and mean but it's just because he was scared. That's totally believeable as far as I'm concerned. And Sev sounds like such a good dad! He and Tevin are so cute together! I just wanna hug them both! XD

    Very very good Raven! You perfectly ended a good day! So thanks for that and I can't wait for you next up date! *give a hug to Raven*

    Thank you, Ivy-Green!  I didn't want to flat out say "four years later," but have readers figure out they were five by dropping the hints around the chapter.  It's not usually my style to do time jumps clearly indicated.  And to be honest, I have no idea why!  (Does that make me mean?)  They have to act out what the spells do, since they can't actually jinx/hex each other.  And leave it to Draco to pull a stunt like that.  Little brat indeed.  I'm portraying Draco as the rebellious one in this friendship because he wants to see just how much he can get away with with Lucius and Narcissa, while Tevin is the well-behaved (for the most part) boy, because he doesn't like making Severus angry or disappointed.  Glad that you liked Lucius.  I was hoping he wasn't too...exaggerated, but when fear motivates you, you aren't really yourself anymore.  Yes, Severus has had a whole staff at Hogwarts and a few friends (*cough* Lily & James's memories, Ophelia, Remus, Mrs. Figg, the Malfoys) to help him too.  Lucky for him.  Glad I could end your good day well.  I'll catch up on your story as soon as I can!  It's been a rough week.  *hugs back* ~ RK

    Oh! That was so sad! Funny in parts, but sad! Poor Sev! My heart's breaking! Oh, this was very good Raven! I really liked the history of Lucius's cain, and the little duel. And when Severus told Draco that that one girl was too old for him. XD That was really funny. Oh, and I thought it was cute that Draco and Tevin are such good friends now. But how sad that Sev's all depressed on Halloweens...very sad. But little Tevin's so cute and understanding! I just want to hug them both!

    I found two little mistakes though:"It's not like one or your father's social parties." -On should be "of"
    "That is it was until Professor Snape brought his son to live with him." this sentence confused me a bit. I think you need to look at it. I think it sound read, "That is until Prof. Snape..."

    Again, Very very good Raven! I can't wait for more! Oh, and ten points to you for such a quick update! *cheers*

    Thank you, Ivy-Green!  Glad the sadness was balanced in the chapter.  I was hoping it wouldn't be overly depressing.  Lucius's cane always fascinated me - especially after watching interviews with Jason Isaacs about Lucius's cane.  So, after that I needed to explain where the cane comes from.  Minnie biting him was only a way to introduce this cane.  I won't even hide that!  Have to have a little Slytherin/Gryffindor tension.  Yes, Draco and Tevin are good friends.  There will be more interactions with them in the future. 

    Yes, considering that Halloween was the day that Severus lost Lily, I do not think he would be in a festive mood.  He does want his son to enjoy Halloween, though, and he tries. 

    Thanks for finding those mistakes!  I fixed them!  Don't expect an update nearly at the speed of this one.  The next chapter is a continuation of Chapter 22, and is really long.  It will take me quite some time to complete.  I'll write as fast as I can. ~ RK

    Aww! So sad! This was really cute, but sad! It's Halloween and poor Sev's so depressed! But cute that Draco and Tevin are such good friends. And I liked the history of Lucius's cain! XD Nice. And the little duel that happened added some nice flavor, to remind everyone that Gryffindor and Slytherin still don't get along. And I LOVED the line when Sev told Draco that that one girl was too old for him XD I literally snorted there. But poor poor Sev! He's so sad and it makes little Tevin sad too. This was really good!!

Title: Chapter 23: Chapter 23 - Halloween Secrets - Part I 15 Dec 2009

    First, I want to say sorry for not reading sooner. Had finals all last week and busy with family birthdays this weekend, but wow! Great chapter! Poor little Harry! He just wants to know what's going on. And poor Remus finds himself being the one that has to tell the boy something. It's so sad that Harry thinks he should be sad like Severus. But I really liked Remus's memory of the picture.

    And speaking of Remus, man is he a heavy sleeper! I think I would've woke to at least the chair falling, but then again, I'm a light sleeper. But Harry just went home? He's gotta be freaking out! I would if I was that little, had a scary dream and then couldn't find my father!

    I found a little typo towards the begin: "with lnog wavy" and here I think you forgot the word "pitched" in "high pitched" but what you have is okay, I just thought it sounded. "It was a terrible sound to hear while the high laughter of the other..."

    But it was another wonderful chapter! I enjoyed it lots! Sorry to hear your few weeks have been bad. Same here :( But this made me feel better, and I hope you have a better week too! Maybe it's time to read more of Tug? :D No, you don't have to, I'm just being stupid. But I can't wait for the next chappie! :D

    Author's Response: That's okay that you don't read right away.  It happens to the best of us.  (By the way, have you updated your story recently?  I think I'll have to check that...)  Yes, Remus is a source of information to Tevin in this story.  He is the link between almost everyone in the story.  And with Remus being a heavy sleeper.  Hey, if he can sleep when the Hogwarts train comes to a jarring halt in The Prisoner of Azkaban he could so sleep through the sound of a crash or two.  Yes, Tevin will be nervous but he'll come up with something.  He is being raised by two resourceful Slytherins.  It has to rub off sometime.  Thanks for your typo noticing.  They are fixed.  Glad you liked the chapter!  Part II is in progress.  (And I concur, it might be time to giggle with more of your Tug story.  Once I finish my last paper!  *happy dance*  Can't wait to hand in that paper!)  Thanks for reading and reviewing.  ~ RK

    O_O WOW! Well, this was fantastic! Well worth the wait Raven! Poor Severus! He gave everything he had to try and save Lily. The part where Jayce asks Severus if that was all the money he had really got me. It was so sad! And then when he thought the potion didn't work and threw the cauldron...I wanted to cry, but then right away the toad was alive! YAY!! He did! I always knew Snape was the greatest Potions Master in the world! ;D

    But poor Sev in "present" time. He's still so sad. He thinks he killed Lily, and he just wants to hold her again, but he can't! So sad! And he can't get away from nightmares. Sad. Hopefully Tevin will make him feel better soon.

    Another fantasic chappie Raven! Again I say, well worth the wait! :D

    Author's Response: Glad you like it so much!  This part and Part III are the toughest parts to write for this massive chapter.  Yes, Severus did everything he could and gave everything he had.  And yes, Severus is still devestated by Lily's death, because he is overwhelmed by the guilt and the loss.  Thank you!  I hope the last part of this chapter is also worth the wait when I finish and post it.  (I'm slowly catching up on your story.  I'm still busy, but things will hopefully slow down soon.  I will catch up!)  Thanks for reviewing!  ~ RK

    Real life does suck sometimes, doesn't it? No worries here Raven, I always love your writings! And I'm having trouble updating too.

    But what a dramatic chapter!! I wonderful, chapter! This was great Raven, and I mean it! I almost started crying like it ten places it got to me! The memories were the real tear jerkiers I think. And Severus's in the graveyard hit hard too. It was wonderfully done! I just loved it so much!

    Poor Ophelia though. I feel bad she always gets the blame...but poor little Tevin! That would be scary to come home and not find anyone at that age! And Remus, waking up to realize that his godson's gone! AND then last, poor Severus! Now he's sick too! Everyone's so sad in this!

    But this was wonderful Raven! I'm really glad you updated! Sorry I can't review more, but I have class. Brilliant chappie!! :D

    Author's Response: Sorry for making emotional (but at least it lets me know I'm doing my job!), but I am glad you liked this chapter.  It took forever to write.  When I get the next chapter up and running it should be a little more light-hearted than usual.  (Draco should be back!)  And yes, real life does suck soemtimes, but what can you do but persevere?  ~ RK
