Rather than allowing Harry to stay at Diagon Alley after he blew up Aunt Marge, the Ministry sends Harry back to the Dursleys. Harry returns to school after a terrible summer, to find that he's not the only one with this kind of secret. A student has been killed by his family. New screening measures are put into place by the Ministry: Every student must be given a medical exam and interview to look for child abuse. With Dumbledore facing an inquiry, Snape is entrusted with the task of making sure EVERYONE receives one.

- Ahhh!!! I think I love you for this. I've always loved the idea of Harry trying to secretly raise a kid - for whatever reason - ever since I saw a story about him hiding a baby. This is a WONDERFUL start! I hope you will update again soon!

Haha, thanks, it's always good to hear that. I've never heard about such a story although I'd have thought that would be harder, seeing as babies cry quite a lot and require loads of attention and supervision. A specifically chose Toby to be at this age for a large number of reasons and it's the utterly perfect age for what I need to work in this story.
