First off, I got to give you "props" for your "skillz". This story is honestly one of the most well written I've read (and trust me, I've read A LOT). And although the cancer story line has been done a few times, you've managed to put a new spin on it. And you've managed to make me cry a few times, which is good. Well not good, but you know. Anyways, keep up the good work. I'm interested to see what Voldie-kins is up to now, and what that letter is. It's rather bothering me actually... OH. And Dumbledore is sneaky! You'd have thought he was Slytherin after what he did to Molly! :O I'll stop rambling now :) Author's Response: Yay a new reviewer! Thanks!! I'm glad you're liking my story enough to review. Your scheduled day with Flurry is Friday. ;) *Smiles* Thanks so much for the compliments on my writing skills. I really use this fic to try out some techniques and work on some skills to use in my original novel I'm working on. Plus, fanfiction is a lot more fun to write, and you get feedback so much faster. I've probably read those cancer fics you mentioned as I've read A LOT, too. I know what you mean about you crying being good, but not good. We'll find out about both Voldemort and the letter in the next few chapters. Dumbledore is sneaky, but I don't think he's been sneaky enough... Thanks again and don't worry about rambling. I love long reviews!
Much better than my cat who is too hyper and won't snuggle :( I loved this chapter. Voldemort's attack was very will written. The battle between them was neat. And I loved little Harry building sandcastles, that made me smile despite the seriousness of that part. Author's Response: I'm happy to hear you loved Harry building sandcastles. It was a tiny reading respite during the angst. Thanks!
PS: I enjoyed the chapter :) Author's Response: Our subdivision used to be a pecan grove, (I think that's what they're called. lol) so the tree came with the house. We used to have three, but took down two of them because of the mess they made and the possibility of them falling on the house during a hurricane. I'm happy to hear you enjoyed the chapter. Thanks! |
