"Give it a wave," Snape suggested, then immediately grabbed Harry's moving arm to direct the wand's tip AWAY from Snape. "THAT way, Potter, if you please." HAHAHAHAHAHA I rolled with laughter there!
Author's Response: Hey, it may be Lily's wand & Harry may share magic with it, BUT... Remembering Ollivander's-- I just couldn't resist! Harry's attention was completely focused on the Potions MASTER, so he'd naturally point the wand directly at Snape! Snape is full Slytherin when it comes to ALL types of survival skills! Hee! :-)

- Awww I loved this chapter, this whole story. While I'm not crazy about the whole "play dumb" theory I do see how Sev might have a point :-) I HEART the last line...aww so nice!

- HOW in the WORLD did I NOT READ THIS?!?!?! The beginning looks familar, maybe I started to read it and got interrupted, dunno. This is GREAT!!!!!!!!!!
"Childrearing Charms for New Parents?" she read aloud, peering down into Harry's bag where the title was visible on the spine of the slender volume. "What on earth…?" HEHEHE I can just imagine Hermione thinking, "is there something you and Ginny need to tell me? and do you need to go into hiding from Ron when he finds out?" LOL GREAT.
I Rolled on the Floor laughed at the description of Flitwick's eyes doing the tango, I pictured Flitwick literally going around the castle and doing a spell to cause all the students and staff to tango.
LOL, I'm wondering if Harry and Flitwick have a death wish at the moment. I'm loving it!
Author's Response: It sounds as if you have finally come out of hibernation! Wow! What enthusiasm! Yes, the technical aspects of this Charm took a while to work out, and I didn't think I could fudge around with it coz I wanted it to be BELIEVABLE, so I had to go to extreme measures, including Childrearing Charms! I figured a good laugh in passing couldn't hurt! And I love writing Flitwick-- he's so underused in canon. And I think he secretly enjoys being able to put the occasional "joke" over on Snape, so he's a willing "conspirator" in Harry's project! Glad you enjoyed REREADING Chap 1! ;-)

- Great chapter. I feel bad for Snape! Though the "conjoined-not-twins" thing was super funny! :-) It sounds like this spell could easily be a Unforgivable.
Author's Response: Heh heh heh! Once again, I had to give some serious thought to what kind of spell could possibly prove sufficiently distracting to Snape to allow Harry to cast the Haunting Charm on the man without it being detected. I think Hermione went a little overboard, since she's nearly in a state of shock at the result, but I just had to do something with Crabbe and Goyle, so they became the hapless victim(s)! And I agree with your assessment, but almost any spell could be "Dark" when seriously misused, including Rictussempra, the Tickling Spell. (Have you ever been tickled until you were ready to be SICK?!)
