What's in a name? The-boy-who-lived, prophesied defeater of the Dark Lord, son of the supremely intelligent Lily Evans and talented James Potter, Golden boy of Gryffindor, part-time punching bag and house elf of the Dursleys and the bane of Severus Snape's teaching career, Harry's used to labels. Who would want Harry when they can see instead whoever they like instead? Having never been entirely sure who he is makes him a little too open to suggestion though and unfortunately for him, Umbridge wants to banish his old list of names and create a new one of her own.
Beneath the names others have branded him with will anyone be able to find Harry?

- Well, a bit longer than normal, so that's good. I'm glad the "last time" was shorter too, you really don't need it, because it was taking up a LOT of your space. I liked the chapter but it could be better, we know Severus knows something off, but what does he notice from chapters back?

- Oh wow, that was awesome, you did a fantastic job, girlie! I had to LOL at Sev when it came to him musing about why his son hadn't picked up his blocks like he'd been asked...haha, Sev hadn't been around too many tots I suppose (I used to work at a Daycare and all I can say to Sev is "good luck cuz it ain't gonna happen"). I liked the little play on names ("prince" because Sev's and Hadrian's real last name is "Prince"). I found it interesting that Hadrian's fear is light in two ways, the first being that later in his young life he has to face much proverbal darkness, that yes, he'd end up fighting) and secondly, just a year later, Hadrian would be begin to be haunted by another GREEN light, though with the foulest of results unlike this boggart. Knowing your writing, you probably meant to do that, but was the color of the light (green) and the light itself meant to be a little nudge about the AK later in his life? Great job and I hope you survived BF.

Yay, you picked up on a lot of the subtext I quietly wrote into this as I've discovered I can't write complete fluff, fluff with an underlying purpose and subtext yes, but not complete fluff. In some ways if you think about some of the lines like his wishes for Hadrian, it's rather sad to know what happened later.
I made autumnamberleaves laugh. :) I thought people would like that block bit. I included a little bit of myself in this young Sev in not being around babies/toddlers much at all. Plus, he's a smart cookie and sometimes smart people just can't understand how others don't get something even if it's a baby. lol.
The afraid of light thing was one of the things that popped into my head when I chose my prompts. It wasn't always like this as I had planned a whole different few chapters thing, but then it morphed into this. Plus, I just thought it would be interesting if a small child was afraid of light instead of the dark. You don't really hear about that.
I totally survived BF. I hope you did. I was actually crazy enough to go shopping on my lunch break and after work. I totally couldn't pass up the great DVD/Blu-ray disc prices as I usually get a bunch for my dad for Christmas.
