I'm a huge fan of Harry Potter!

Severus Snape is my hero and favorite character by far. I have never forgiven J.K. for killing him off. I love to see him as a father figure to Harry. (Who needs James Potter? Not me!)

There are few pairings that I won't read about, but for some reason I cannot abide Ginny Weasley, unless she is a villian. I like her that way. Though that doesn't mean that I won't read fics with her as the love interest, it's just not my preference. Truth is that I adore reading and my tastes are rather eclectic, so bring on the stories, because I'm ready to review!

I have just started my first attempt at a Harry Potter fanfic and I hope that everyone will enjoy it. I welcome all constructive critism and any advice given will be noted.

    Dumbledore is a real piece of work, isn't he? Harry was badly beaten by Vernon Dursley and yet, the old fogey wants to send him back into that man's grasp. I'm glad that Severus has decided to protect Harry from those that would do harm to him, up to and including Albus Dumbledore himself. I hope that Severus will be able to gain Harry's trust and that he will in the end decide to accept his protection.

    Great chapter! I hope to see an update soon.

    I wonder how long Severus will be able to keep up appearances for Voldemort and his lackeys? Will he be able to keep himself from being nicer to Harry in public or will he slip?

    Haha...I wonder how Draco will react when he discovers that Sirius is the one and only Padfoot? Should be fun!

    I'm glad that Severus was able to remove that nasty spell from poor Ginny and that she will soon be returned to the bosom of her family.

    I have to wonder what kind of relationship Harry and Draco are going to end up in. Will they be friends or something deeper?

    And how about Hermione? Will she and Harry get over the angst her overactive imagination caused or is their friendship over?

    Then there's the thing with Ron's eyes. What does that signify and how will it effect the storyline?

    Oh, Dear! So many questions, so little time...xD. Great story thus far, awesome chapter! I can't wait to read more!

    Right now I can't help but shake my head at Hermione's idiocy. She's usually so smart but cannot see that her automatic assumptions are only making her look like a fool. Yes, it's true that Harry and Severus found themselves becoming close quickly but that is mostly because of the sharing of their memories. Of course, she doesn't know that but that is mainly because she isn't willing to listen to the truth preferring instead to come to her own rather biased opinions. If she keeps saying such awful things, she is only going to find herself friendless, alone, and despised.

    I can understand the why of Molly's railing against that awful woman's wards, but am horrified that she allowed herself to completely drain her core. Doesn't she realize that Ginny would never want her to risk herself like that? I do hope that Poppy will be able to help her.

    I'm really curious about that Gnome and what significance it's presence in the Weasley home has....

    I hope that the Slytherins will remember what Severus has told them this day. He cares far more about them than they suspected and I hope that they know that now. They hurt him with their lack of trust and they owe him an apology. I do hope that they will trust his judgement and accept the help that he has brought them.

    I think that Harry is finally beginning to truly understand the plight of the children of the Deatheaters. It's terrible that many of their parents are not only willing, but ecstatically happy, to enslave them to Voldemort. I hope this new insight will help him to want to help them even more.

    I think that Harry's thought is right; Dumbledore would not have wanted to lose his spy. Even if he did know how, he wouldn't have removed the mark from Severus. I hope that Harry will be able to do so without harm to himself or to Severus.

    This was bound to happen eventually. Why..oh WHY, didn't that idiot shut up? Blaise doesn't realize just how much Harry really does care. Harry wants to help them all and he is terrified of what he is capable of. I'm just glad that he now has Severus to keep him safe and centered. Blaise owes Hermione and Severus a debt of gratitude now; they saved his life, though, I'm not sure he deserved it. (Personally, I would have let him be shredded..no, that would hurt Harry; guess there will have to be a convenient accident arranged at some point instead.*evil smirk*)

    I hope that the plan to ingratiate the Slytherins with the other houses will work. I just have this fear that some people will react like that one group did and treat them badly. It's really sad that so many people believe that all Slytherins are bad people without even bothering to get to know them.

    I loved Harry's little comment about him and Draco being brothers and Severus' following query was hilarious. I wonder if he realizes what he practically implied?
